Saharah stood next to the river and inhaled deeply before slowly letting it out again. She cleared her head and set in with determination.
"Let's do this," she said suddenly. She flung herself into the River, Kira close behind. Once they were across they shook themselves and waited for the others. Saharah sniffed and finally said;
"This is where they were taken, look at the prints--" she padded around and suddenly barked in alarm as she slipped and stepped in a huge track from a monster. Her eyes widened and she gasped as she realized just how huge it must have been to make this track.
(By the way, Shenzi....I have no clue who was supossed to be with her.....I know it was only yours and my wolves, though....make some up! XD)
Saharah sniffed at it and noticed that she would easily be able to follow it's scent--even though it reeked of uprights. She glanced around.
"Ready?"

"Thats great, Saharah." Yeti baked softly. "Absolutly great"
(ROTFLH [Rolling on the floor laughing hystaricly] "Yeti BAKED softly"?? XD Ihni (I have no idea) why that's so funny, but it is....)
(*deep breath....*)
"This female was the first. Her name is Kari, that male (second) is Sako." (cont.)
(Relize that very rarely do I acctually read what I wrote)
Yeti nodded happily. "Those sound great so far."
(Btw, just wondering, but do you have a special plan for them?)
"This is Delta and that little female is Willow," (gtg!!)
"Those names are amazing." Yeti barked. He looked around at the other pups. "I assume the rest are Shenzi's?"
Saharah nodded enthusiasticly.
"Yeah! Arn't they adorable!?" she barked happily. She suddenly didn't seem so tired, now that she was home. Just then the pups started squealing. She glanced at Yeti apollogeticly and gathered her pups towards her as she went to her den, carrying them with her.
"Hungry again," she barked over her shoulder as she soothed their crys and lay down on her side so they could suckle.
Yeti followed er in, and licked her cheek. "I bet they are. That must have been a long journey. How was it?"
Shenzi padded carefully into camp, pressing slightly againt Frazko, and respond happily to the pack members. She saw Saharah and Yeti do into thier den, assuming it was so they could have privacy and let the pups nurse. Shenzi wondered when the pack would leave her and Frazko alone. She was beginning to grow tired, and the weight of the pup felt like a lead-weight in her moulth.
Frazko noticed his mate tireing and barked at the pack,
"Okay, okay. Shenzi's tired. She needs to rest with her pups in a den. I'll organize a hunting patrol," he barked. He helped carry Shenzi's pups to their den and then gave her a final lick on the cheek before turning and calling the pack to follow. Kira was also exausted. She glanced at the other members who had come with her on the journey.
"Reamo, how're you feeling..?"
Saharah smiled.
"Well, it was pretty easy for the first long trek. We hit a Blackpath and everybody except Kamodo got across," she continued the story on how Kira found Shining Sun Pack and how they found and attacked the humans, and how Shenzi had been forced to have her pups in a metal upright trap. When she finished she felt as though she had gone on the trek twice over. She smiled at her mate again.
"But we're all fine.."
Shenzi smiled, streaching out so her pups could nurse. She inhaled deeply the scent of camp, and teh stale scents of her and Frazko from before they were taken. At leaset its over.... And that was the last action Im going to see for a while until the pups are full grown...
Reamo smied weakly. "Ive been better." He barked. He was surprised now kind this she-wolf was when she could have been eating up the glory of finding another pack to save Kamodo. He suddenly relized that he had a tiny bnit of a crush on the she-wolf, but shook it aside. No time for that now, or ever.
Yeti nodded. "Everyone, every pup, is safe." he barked. "Did you know you were going to have pups before you left?"
Frazko nuzzled his mate and lay next to her.
"I'm glad their all healthy," he murmured as they inhaled each other's scent and relaxed in the privacy of the quiet den.
Kira looked concerned.
"Are you sick? Or...what? Do you need herbs? I can find some roots or something, I learned lots when-...Do you need them?
(GREAT! *rolls eyes* Just made myself have another secret a wolf has..Nice! *looks bored and slightly annoyed* jk, wtvr. All the other secrets are about to spill. :D )
"Im just glad its over.' Shenzi barked softly, pressing her head against his.
"I have some things stored up." Reamo barked carefully, trying not to question what she had said.
Frazko agreed and lay his head down, inhaling deeply.
"I sent out a hunting patrol and a border patrol. Everything is taken care of......" he murmured as he sank slowly into sleep.
Kira nodded.
"Okay," she barked. "you'd better get some--you look pretty sick," she said; not meaning to be rude. She felt like her face was on fire.
"I mean--I didn't mean--I meant--I'm sorry!" she stuttered as she grasped for words.
"You look pretty sick"?? DUH! He knows he's sick!! And he can get the herbs himself! What was I thinking??? she bellowed at herself mentaly.

Saharah looked nervous.
"Um...yes..I did...I thought....I thought you might not want pups. So I wanted to try and convense you before I had them..before I told you..." she said quietly as she looked into her mate's eyes.
Shenzi drifted off to sleep, enjoying the chance to rest.
"Its no big deal!" Reamo barked calmly, happily. "I know I look sick." He wagged his tail slightly. "Are you begginning to recover from the journey?" he asked, blushing slightly.
Yeti smiled laughingly. "You should have just asked if I wanted pups. My answer would have been yes, of course." He remebered his life before the pack, when he had killed his own sister, forcing his sister's friend to care for his sister's pups only because they had been enemies. He remembered his brother, killed by a monster. Yeti shook off the memories.
(Remember all those? I have a plan, sort of)
(Yup. I remember..)
Kira blushed also.
"Yes.." she almost whispered, her face hot again.
Saharah smiled.
"I should have known..." suddenly she looked down as she noticed only three suckling. The last pup that was the smallest girl, Willow, was lying next to Saharah, but not suckling. A sinking over-whelming feeling came into Saharah's body as she gasped, still staring at her pups.
(It has come to pass....)
(Awww!!!!)
Yeti could quite see what was wrong. He nuzzled his mate. "What is it?" he asked worriedly.
Reamo blushed. "Good." He tried to summon the courage. "Maybe...later....uh...do you want to go...hunting..or on a walk..or something...with me?" He looked up hopefully. I sound like an idiot! he cried in internal agony.
(Ikr..And LOLing at Reamo and Kira! XD )
Saharah nudged Willow, ignoring Yeti's question. She felt the pup's body growing slightly cold. As she nudged it the pup flopped over...lifeless.
"W-....Willow...!" Saharah whispered. Tears trickled down her face as she stared at her pup's lifeless form.
Yeti's eyes grew wide. He wanted to panic, but didnt want to upset his mate more. He pressed his creek against her's in an attempt to comfort her, tears glistening in his eyes..
(Well, she was fun while she lasted...jk jk jk. The Reamo and Kira MAY have possibilities. Hey, ever notice that the mate pairings are onlt in 'upper' class wolves. Alphas, Betas, Rasho was sort of a beta, its the Kira and Reamo thing goes through, then healer. Wait can healers even have mates? I vote no. It would make it EPIC.)
(I know! And I vote no, too. EPIC!! :D )
Saharah felt a overwhelming weight seem to be crushing her. The stress of everything suddenly came crashign down and she felt like she was smothering. She was howling a loud, long, deep tune of sorrow and misery in her mind as tears streamed down her face. She couldn't speak--she couldn't bring herself to do anything but lean back into her mate's fur and sob.
(Forgot--)
Kira nodded and looked embarrassed.
"Sure..!" she barked in a low tone.
(Then no it is! This could turn out really well)
Yeti didnt know what to do, what to say, or how to act would comfort his mate, but knew there wasnt really a way to comfort her. He press against her softly, nuzzling her, and trying to control the flood of tears leaking from his eyes.
Shenzi woke with a start to Saharah's howl. She blinked the sleep our of her eyes, her ears pricked. "I wonder what happened.' she spoke softly, mostly to herself. Inside, she was pretty sure she knew.
Reamo smiled, but looked embarassed. "I'll, uh, look forward to it.' he barked softly.
Kira started to say something but turned at the sound of a mournfull howl. Horror mounted inside her as she got closer to the den and she saw the pup. She gave a small cry and backed away.
"Saharah..!" she murmured, feeling her pain.
Saharah slowly fell asleep, exausted and in misery, whimpering every once in a while and pressing closer to her mate.
Frazko had left momentarily And he reported the news to Shenzi as he held back his own feelings. He came over to her and sat down.
"One of Saharah's pups died..."
Reamo lowered his head. He kne which pup it was, andhe had known the pup would either be weak or die. "Poor Saharah.." he murmered.
Yeti thought for a moment, and decided his mate didnt need to feel the cold of the lifeless pup's body when she woke up. He stood slowly, and moved the pup to the edge of them den, where it was still visible. He then layed back down next to Saharah.
"I feel so bad for her..." she barked, gathering her pups closer to herself protectivly. "We should try to keep everyone away from their den for now...She and Yeti need some time alone..."
Frazko nodded dully.
Saharah's devestated...she'll need lots of time to recover from all this...
"I'll tell them..oh! Hunting Patrol's back.." he said, suddenly not very hungry.
Kira bowed her head also. She slowly turned and walked towards the Forest.
Shenzi sighed. Though she hadnt eat more than a mouthfull of food since she was trapped, she wasnt hungry. She layed back down, curling up with her sleeping pups.
Reamo wondered if Kira expected him to follow. He stood like a petrified deer, unsure.
Frazko went to the patrol, reluctantly leaving his mate, to tell them. He returned with a fresh rabbit.
"Come on, Shenzi." he said gently.
"You need to keep up your strength. We both do. Even if you don't feel hungry," he murmured.
Kira didn't turn back, but the slightest twitch of her ears suggested that she was listening for following pawsteps.
(Get ready to rumble..!! Epic plot!)
"I guess I have to." Shenzi barked. "The pups need it for their milk. But I dont think Ill be able to keep it down..."
Reamo shook off his nervousness and galloped after her, his heart pounding.
(WOOT!)

Frazko smiled slightly, admiring his mate's perservirance and determined willpower that always kept her going. He gave her a friendly nudge and then sat down to rest for a moment. The others in the camp were chatting to each other and eating or grooming together. Now was the perfect time to rest.
Kira stopped beside a shady, private darker area of the forest, where a den shaped dome had soft moss growing in it. She had found it a while back and had come to it to be alone--now Reamo was with her..
Shenzi gulped down her share of the rabbit meat quickly, laying back out for her pups.
Reamo followed close behind Kira, trying not to appear nervous. "This is a nice place." he barked. "I dont often come to this area of the forest." Reamo risited the urge to ramble like an idiot.
Kira smiled faintly.
"I found it a while back," she didn't mention that she had been slightly lost, regardless of scent marks. "It's a nice cool area...and quiet..." she murmured slowly.
"Definetly." Reamo nodded. He settled down. "So, um, uh, tell me a bit about yourself. Like where you were before joining Mistypack." Reamo was sure he had finnally achieved the status of sounding like an idiot.

Kira smiled slightly.
"I've been a loner a long time. Taught myself alot, all though my Brother taught me some usefull stuff before he was [killed] (no wait,) Taken by uprights several years ago. (OMIGOSH! PLOT TWISTER COMING SOON!)" she said as she grinned at the memories that were obviously happy ones from the past.
"What about you? I wanna hear about your history."
Reamo shugged. "Theres not much to tell. When me and Tygris were pups, Talia, our mother, took us here. Our father was killed before we were born, but our aunt helped raise us. She refuesed to join the pack, though." He smiled. "I dont understand why not though. The pack is awesome." Reamo looked into the sky. The mid-afternoon sun looked down on them, filling the forest with dappled white.
Kira nodded and gazed at the soft green around her.
"I can't believe..after all Saharah had to go through..her pup died on top of everything.." she whispered, her eyes misty.
"It just isnt right for a pup to die so early, especcialy when the mother care for them the way Saharah does." Reamo's eyes were wet.
He's actually crying..!!?? Kira was shocked that a male like Reamo would actually let his feelings show. She blinked a few times and looked at the leaves around her. She desperatly tried to think of a conversation but nothing came to mind and so she stayed quiet instead of blabbering mindlessly. (Not hinting about Reamo,)
Reamo decided it was time to move on to another conversation. "Earlier, you were talking about roots and herbs, and it sounded like you knew something, but you also sounded like you wanted to hide it. Why?" Reamo hoped he wasnt asking a question that was too personal.
Kira shrugged.
"I like to use my skills to help--but I've always felt like they'll try to turn me into a healer instead of a hunter or a fighter if they know that I know herbs. I taught myself most of them by listening and testing them as a loner.." she said, looking at his face.
Reamo nodded understandingly. "Pretty skilled to teach herbs to yourself." he barked with approval, but countinued softly "But I really think that Saharah and Yeti wouldnt try to turn you into a healer. Their more understanding than that."
(Oh, yes, those two understanding wolves soon enough are going to be very un-understanding! Its like Jinxing it! On purpose!)
(Ha ha! Honestly. XD That's so perfectly awesome in a weird annoying tradgic way!)
Kira smiled at his aproval and then looked away at his next words.
"Can't trust sombody by what they seem like...." she murmured as she gazed at something in the distance that wasn't even there.
Saharah slowly awoke as memories of the day pressed around her. It was morning (remember they got back at night. HUGE blooped. Forgot...hunting patrol at night..?..) (DANG IT I FORGOT WHAT WAS GOIGN TO HPPEN AND I ALREADY HAD A PLOT!!....oh...that was for a different part....nvm....)
Saharah's eyes showed pain and hurt as she recalled events that had passed. She pressed into her mate with a whimper of emotions.

Reamo smiled. "Well, they havent done anything yet, but you never know. They could go crazy and make the whole camp eat grass instead of meat and sleep standing up." He noticed how down her mood seemed after jsut an instant.
(Oh, what the heck with the times of day. I know im gonna mess them up anyways.)
Yeti tried to say something, but couldnt. It hurt him to see his mate, this sad, and he knew that he couldnt help, he couldnt bring his daughter back, he couldnt help. And that feeling of not being able to do something drove him insane.
Kira smiled at his example of insanity--
So far off...yet so close.. mused Kira. She glanced back at him.
"Wanna hunt...?" she said, anything for a chance to not sit and stare without anything to say.
Saharah didn't move. She only stayed frozen.
"Sure!" Reamo barked, smiling, but he lowered his head. "But I sorta stink at hunting. No one ever taught me. I just watched hunting potrol while gathing herbs, and tried it out a few times."
"I'll help you!" Kira barked happily. She crouched down in a hunters crouch.
"Now, relax. Don't watch me and try to copy, everybody has their own hunting crouch postion--although all are similar. Just think and relaxe, it'll come naturally. It's instinct. Try it!"
Reamo smiled, chrouching down smoothly. His crouch was near perfect, able to rival that of any hunter. He stalked forewards slowly, carefully placing his feet. After a few steps, he straighted up. "How was that?" he asked.
"Amazing!" barked Kira with enthusiasm.
"Mentors say it takes practice and they have to TEACH you, but come on! Loners figure it out or, like I did, think about it! It comes naturaly." she stated as she grinned at him.
Reamo smiled with enthusiasm. "Thanks!" he barked. "It does come pretty natural. I just never really tried before, I guess. Shall we hunt?"
"Sure thing," she barked as she lead the way, sniffing and trying to scent any animals.
Reamo followed, pricking his ears for noise. He stops suddenly, motioning to a stranded elk, a female.
Kira smiled at him to crouch and she did also. She gave a motion to him, signaling that she was going ahead to chase the elk to him.
Reamo nodded slightly in return, crouching low to the ground. Seeing that she was going around, he made sure he was in a shadow to help hide his black fur, and made sure that Kira knew where he was.
Kira crawled across silently. She felt the wind shift and glanced at the elk, knowing it could now smell them. The elk raised it's head and it's eyes widened in fear. Kira gave a leap and it carried her over and behind it. The elk ran, blinded by fear, straight towards Reamo. (You roleplay it too,)

Reamo leaped from his hiding place, luging for the thraot. The panicked elk swerved, but Reamo was fater and managed to latch on. The giant elk bucked and thrashed, trying to loose his target. Reamo knew he could hold on for too long, and hoped that Kira would dispatch it soon.
Kira grabbed the elk and swiftly killed it skillfully.
"Nice catch, " she congratulated him.
"You did most of the wrk." Reamo barked, smiling. "All I did was jump infront of it.
Kira looked impressed.
"But that was perfect! I thought I was upwind but the wind shifted. If you hadn't been there then I would have lost the catch!" she said, smiling.
Reamo shook his head, but was still smiling. "I doubt that. Your fast enough, you proboly could have caught up to it eventually." He looked around, seeing that they were no where near camp. "This going to be alot of work to take back to camp." he noted.
Kira smiled slyly.
"Who said we were taking it back..?"
Reamo smiled. "Good idea." he barked in a just as sly tone."
Kira nodded her head for him to take the first mouthfull as she sat back on her paws and watched.
Reamo nodded and stepped forward taking a bite. "Its always better fresh." he barked. "You coming?"
Kira grinned and slowly came forwards, eating across from him.
"This is almost like what it was like to be a loner. You defend yourself, you by yourself or as a team--sombody special. You ate what you caught and caught no more. You had no territory--you figure it out. It was awesome.." Kira murmured as she recalled past life as a Loner.
"Seems like it would be better tham living in the pack sometimes." Reamo barked. "Do you regret leaving it?"
Kira paused.
Not while I'm with a total hottie!! she thought privatly.
"Sometimes...but, in a different way, it's almost as good.."
Reamo nodded. "Im sured their both good and bad in some ways." He stepped back from their catch. "Im full." he barked, sitting down. He noted how Kira's gray fur glowed silver in the sunlight, and rippled beautifully in the slight breeze.
Kira came slowly over and leaned against him gently, pressing her head under his, moving slowly and gently.
(Here we go... *claps for plot twisters*)

Reamo was suprised for a moment, but soon pressed against her, unable to speak.
(YAYYYY!!)

Kira nuzzled him. Time suddenly had no meaning. Nothing had any meaning except that they were together.
(uuhhhhh...idk)
"I love you, Kira." Reamo whispered in her ear. "But...but we cant be together..."
(Great. Same here...)
Kira nodded in understanding.
"I know..." she whispered quietly.
("Whispered Quietly"? Redundant, much?)
(XD no, not at all!)
"But I still would like to be with you..." Reamo's sentance trailed off.
(Ha ha!)
Kira nuzzled him as she fell away from reality--nothing surrounded her except Reamo. Nothing mattered anymore. Suddenly a voice rang out.
"What are you doing!?!"
(It HAS to be one of your wolves and mine who find them,)
(MINE????? Oh, whatever. Ill choose someone. Leezor, for the sake of I cant think of anyone else)
Reamo faced the spot where thew voice came from, still pressing against Kira. He bared his teeth and snarled. "Why are you HERE!?!"
(HA HA! And I'll chooooose...OMIGOSH! WHAT IF IT WHAT TWO OTHER WOVES TRYING TO GET AWAY SO THEY COULD BE TOGETHER!??!!? Umm...I'll choose..Flare.)
Kira looked horrified but tried to look irritated and not scared.
Kira stood next to Leezor with a frozen expression of confusion and disbelief.
"K-Kira..?..!" she stood staring at the two wolves, looking like she wanted an explanation, and also like she didn't want to hear more but just to get out of there.

Reamo kept his mouth shut, refuseing to say a word.
Leezor seemed mad, but also a bit like he wanted to leave. "Reamo, youre a healer, in case you mhavent noticed. What are you doing with a hunter/fighter?" He tried to keep his voice calm.
Kira instantly calmed and looked as though she had only been startled.
"Hunting," she replied, as if it was the most obvious thing ever. "What else?" she flicked her tail carlessly. "What are YOU doing here?" she then retorted, still looking calm. Flare returned the look her friend was giving her.
"Hunting," she barked, and then added with the slightest of a sneer or possible triumph. "What else?"
Leezor flicked his ears, seeing trying to talk to Reamo as worthless. "We're on a hunting potrol, scedualed by Shenzi. But I dont remember Shenzi ever sending healers on a hunting potrol."
Reamo stood firm. "I was gathering herbs."
Leezor looked at him with mock question. "Where are they then?" Reamo hesitated for a split second before answered, "I hadnt started yet."
Kira rolled her eyes.
"Why does it matter? And why did the beta send you on a hunting patrol in the middle of the night??" she retorted, feeling triumphant. Flare looked stunned.
"Why does it matter?" she echoed as she gaped at her friend. "The upright are everywhere! We have to hunt at night or they see us! Only a few wolves know, but Yeti was going to talk with Saharah about moving the pack to a new territory." she barked in response--a reasonable explanation. Kira snorted with anger at being caught, humiliated and interupted. She turned to leave deeper into the forest but paused. (BTW I'm just twisting and tangling things..do what you want. XD)
"You know the prey is rarely around here.....why did you come here..?" she suddenly barked, her eyes narrowed, but shocked with disbelief and anger. "Did you FOLLOW us???"
"No. Saharah and Shenzi wanted us to try hunting here, because the uprights are scaring all the prey near the normal hunting grounds. She wanted to see if some of it had come here." Leezor barked, then sniffed. "If fact I already smell killed prey, and see a few wolves who have been eating said dead prey, even though theres little prey back at camp for the queens. I winder who that chould be." Leezor was staring hard at Reamo.
Kira felt like hot coals had been dropped all over her fur. She glanced at Reamo and knew he wouldn't tell on her.
"It wasn't his fault! It was my idea," she barked fiercly. Flare looked like she really didn't want to tell but it was her duty.
"I really don't wannna tell the Alpha..." she started. She glanced at the pair of them with somthing akin to unease.
"But they should know." Leezor didnt want to tell the alpha's either, but knew that he needed too. "I'll tell ya what." he barked to the two. "Me and Flarea will go a bit deeper into the forest, and stay there for a while. You two can say goodbye and then leave the area. If your not still here when we get back, We MAY not tell the alphas."
Flare seemed to sort of shrugg and she ran smoothly past the two wolves and into the forest, dissapearing. Kira growled and bared her teeth at nobody in perticular and gave Reamo one last look before she bolted away--not towards the camp, but away from it.
Lezor trotted away, his nose in the air, sniffing for prey. Reamo watched the others leave until he was the only one left, then began searching for herbs. He put leaves in piles half-heartedly, looking for anything to make his finds easier to carry.
