That next morning Saharah woke up later than usual. She binked a few times and then yawned and streched, slowly getting to her feet. As she walked towards the creek she noticed most of the wolves were already up and Frazko had sent out a hunting patrol. Many of them were speaking with the newcomers, and a few who looked uncomfortable. She leaped into the stream and gave a gasp as the water hit her fur. It was freezing! Wide awake now, she shook her fur as she climbed out and trotted cheerfully back towards the makeshift camp. Wolves gave her smiles as she walked past and she greeted her friends and packmates warmly.
"Morning, Flare!" she called. Flare turned, a grin on her face.
"Good morning, Saharah!" she grinned back with a nod of her head as she swished her tail in concentraition. She was trying to teach Sako and Delta how to stalk. Saharah leapt on top of the small log in the clearing and gave a long howl for silence. The loners froze and then began to relax and gathered around the log as they heard her howl. Flare and the pups came trotting over and soon everybody was listening.
"Now, before we leave to search for territory again," she began as her eyes sparkled. "a few of us are going to be mentored today!" she barked proudly as the young wolves howled in delight. She became serious again and stepped off the log.
"Kari," she murmured as she stood at attention. Kari smiled slightly as she walked from the clearing. Saharah felt a lump rising in her throat as she saw how big she had gotten. Her fur gleamed and shone in the sunlight and her eyes sparkled. The pups had grown so quickly. Kari stepped forwards till she was close to Saharah.
Saharah inhaled and then spoke loudly and clearly. "You are now six moons old. You have learned much and are cheerful and competitive. You are now ready to be Mentored. Hakara, please step forward." as the pretty wolf padded forward the alpha gave one more deep breath before-
"Hakara, you have shown yourself brave, loyal and true to your pack. You are a good hunter and have good fighting skills. I have chosen you to be Kari's mentor," she barked as she came closer. "May you pass down all your knowledge to Kari as you mentor her." she touched noses with the wolf and barks and howls erupted from every direction as the pack cheered for Kari and Haraka. Kari beamed and then went back to sit beside her new mentor in the crowd.
"Sako." she then called. Her son stepped forward calmly and with a purpose yet excitment showed in his eyes. She smiled as he came close to her.
"Sako you have learned so much in your six moons of life. You are bright and eager to please and are now ready to be Mentored. Tyko, step forward." she commanded strongly as she spotted the young strong wolf in the crowd as he stood. He padded forward and stood, his muscles rippling under his fur.
"Tyko you have proved honourable, loyal, hard working and strong to Mistypack. You have many skills- I have chosen you to be Sako's mentor. May you pass down all your knowledge to Sako as you mentor him." she touched noses with Tyko and then Sako touched noses with his mentor and more cheers and barks exploded from around them as Sako beamed. Saharah turned back and called again-
"Delta," Delta came confidantly forward, so much like his brother and sister, yet so amazingly different. She spoke the ritual firmly but softly as the black wolf stayed perfectly watching his mother.
"Rasho step forward!" she barked suddenly. Rasho made no expression as he walked over to his new apprintice. Delta made no movement but a kind of joy shone in his eyes.
"Rasho you have been loyal to Mistypack, a amazing fighter and a hunter with purpose and agility. I have chosen you to be Delta's Mentor. I trust you to pass down your knowledge to this young wolf as you mentor him with your many skills." she touched noses with Rasho and then both black wolves touched noses. Something happened then. There was no cheers for a second. Only a moment of silence as (HOLY COW I HAD AN IDEA!) the two black wolves stared at each other, both seeming to know something the other didnt before cheers broke out but not as an explotion as had happened before.
Saharah beamed at her pups as they all sat with their mentors.
"And now, Yeti will complete the Mentoring ceremony for Kuni, Manpuku, Kagu and Nanami." she smiled as her mate stepped forward.

Story So Far (SSF):
When complications hit Mistypack, Saharah (the alpha) decided to take instant action against the invading uprights, shortage of food and overall bad territory. They then put some distance between that territory (around 200 miles worth) even with the new pups of the alphas and betas. Long story short, an enemy wolf was recruited, then turned against them and became alpha by force. Terror and bad times followed his reign and a battle is currently raging.
Kuni and Kari's story can be followed at the Fresh Kill link below the chat box on the right sidebar.
An uprising started by Sako surged through the pack and they revolted against the guards. The battle is raging and wolves from both sides are falling. Who will triumph? Add your attacks to the battle by commenting in the newest post!

Yeti nodded, leaping up onto the fallen tree. He beckond Kuni foreward, and the young pup trotted up happily. "Kuni, you are quick witted and strong, and ready to be apprentinced." He scanned the crowd for a specific wolf. His eyes settled on the young gray wolf. "Kurow, though you are fairly new, you have grown used to pack life and are a loyal member of Mistypack. You are strong a true, and able to think on your feet. Kuni will benifit from your training." Kuni and Kurow touched nosed briefly, Kurow attempting to hide the suprise, and they both sat down.
Yeti called over Nanami, and the she-wolf trotted foreward expectantly. "Nanami, you are knowledgable and creative. You are ready to begin training. Kira, you are a loyal member of Mistypack and ready to pass your knowledge on to Nanami. I beleive you are the best wolf to train Nanami." The two touched noses and sat down.
(Im tired of doing ths and I need to go soon. Sorry to rush this, no choice.)
Soon after, Manpuku was given Kamodo as a mentor, and Kagu was given Tygris.
Frazko beamed beside Shenzi as they both sat and watched the cerimony with pride and happiness.
"Seems like it was yesterday that they were born..." he murmured with a grin.
Saharah jumped to the log and began a long, beautiful howl. There was silence for a moment as the notes of the song floated out and then Flare joined in, her melody matching Saharah's, yet completly different at the same time.
Shenzi nodded slightly, smiling. She saw Kuni looking at her and Frazko, and wved her tail slightly.
Yeti howled alongside Saharah and Flare, their call echoing over the trees.
* * * *
Mistypack trudged at a fair pace accross the forest. Dreamer was still missing and a few wolves had stayed behind, tracking her. The loners were traveling with them, uncertain if they wanted to stay or not but getting along well.
"Wanna do some hunting training later on?" asked Kira as she grinned at her apprintice- Nanami.
Nanami almost jumped for joy. "Yeah!" she barked.
Drakon said little to any wolf, traviling near the back of the pack.
Kira grinned.
"Next time we stop we can begin the first lesson- You'll be the first pup to be able to hunt for the pack when we really need it!" she said excitedly to get the young wolf more enthusiastic if that was possible.
Kira grinned.
"Next time we stop we can begin the first lesson- You'll be the first pup to be able to hunt for the pack when we really need it!" she said excitedly to get the young wolf more enthusiastic if that was possible.
Nanami nodded enthusiastically.
Drakon sat down for a moment, blood seeping slightly from on his old wounds that hadnt healed properly.
Yeti looked around as they walked, observing the slightly darkened sky. "We'll stop here for tonight." he decided.
Saharah nodded and began to organize hunting patrols and guards. A few wolves began to help gather moss and other things to lay on in their temporary makshift dens.
The young black female wolf stayed away from the group and b=gathered herself some moss to lay on befor sinking down and watching the activity- undecided wethere to hunt herself, help hunt or wait for food. Waiting for food wasnt even hardly thinkable- same as helping hunt. She decided on hunting later and she glanced around, watching the wolves wander around the forest gathering things and laying down with sighs of exaustion.
Rasho crouched, showing Delta how to crouch and stalk silently.
"Keep your paws light-" he muttered. It sounded strange, but Delta knew what he meant and he crouched slightly different, his posture perfect, making it much easier to hunt.
"I see what you mean," he barked to his mentor almost casually. "And it's easier this way." he added as he took a practice leap and landed expertly on a clump of waving grass. Rasho gave a small smile.
"Nice. Now lets try for real-"
Kira turned to Nanami after watching Rasho leave with Delta.
"Alright- ready for your first lesson?"
Drakon curled up at the base of a tree, not bothering to make a nest or look around.
Shenzi looked around a bit, exhasted after walking all day. She found an old burrow of some sort, now abandoned, and beckond Frazko over with a bark.
Nanami smiled and nodded vigerously. "Yeah!!! Lets hunt!"
Frazko nodded and quickly scanned the den area.
"Nice find- check it out and grab some moss." he barked as he turned back and pawed at a heavily mossy tree.
Kira beckoned her apprintice into the deeper forest and then scented quickly and expertly before sitting down with a flick of her ears.
"What can you scent," she asked as she watched Nanami's face concentrate. She knew scenting could be hard work and she was prepared to help her and teach her every trick she knew.
Shenzi ducked inside the den, examining the large and spacious room. For a moment she rested before padding out to help find moss. She yawned slightly as she pulled moss from a tree.
Nanami lifted her nose breathing in deeply. "You...A squirrel...upright, but the scent is old...and a deer."
Saharah came back with Shade, Blaze and Mirage with two bucks. They dragged it into the middle of the new makshift camp area with a sigh of exaustion, yet energized slightly by the thrill of the hunt.
"Food." barked Mirage tiredly as the wolves crouded around and began to eat ravenously.
Kira nodded encouragingly.
"The uprights are thinning out," she mused. "Anything else?" she asked hintingly.
Shenzi looked at the bucks wistfully before ducking into the den, carrying her collected moss.
Nanami sniffed again, and her eyes widened. "Snake!" She saw the sun glinting off its scales, poised to strike in a nearby bush. Unthinkingly she jumped, baring her small fangs. The snake bit, barley missing her shoulder as Nanami yelped in terror. She attemped to pin the snake with her paws, but it wrapped around her legs quickly.
Kira gave a hurried sniff as her aprintice gave the warning. She snarled at herself for not scenting it first and grabbed Nanami by the scruff and jerked her back.
"Get away from it! We cant try to fight it-" she barked as she desperatly tried to grab the snake and get both of them away from it.
Nanami struggled, kicking with her back legs and causing Kira to drop her. Instead of running, she slammed her paw down on the back of the snake, right behing its head. She bit down next to her paw, nearly gagging on the foul bloody taste.
Kira stood ridged- staring at how her apprintice had just expertly killed te snake without any known training before. She froze, waiting.
Nanami waited, feeling the snakes heart stop. Slowly, she let go of the snake and lifted her head up, and looked to Kira for her opinion. The snakes blood dripped out of Nanami's mouth, and she looked shocked at what she had done.
Kira stayed frozen as she stared at the dead snake and Nanami's shocked face. She scanned her apprintice's face and then the snake before slowly exhaling and staring into Nanami's eyes.
"...You..." she whispered with amazment as she stared at the snake again. "You killed it...by yourself!" she exclaimed again as she began to relax her tense muscles.
Nanami looked back at the snake. "I-I did." she barked, still shocked. She was suprised at how the panic had gripped her, making her act so instictivly. She tried make herself feel proud for dispatching a dangerous animal, but she was still frozen in fear, not of the snake, but of her reation, how natural it felt to kill. How easy it came to her, and how feeling the snake's heat stop had been so satifying.
(OH. MY. GOSH! Okay, you know my plan for Rasho being...you know..had an "afaire" with Saharah? What if all of her pups have part of the Black Side..!)
Kira finally broke out of her horror and quickly dug a hole.
"We want to bury it if we arn't going to eat it or else badgers and other enemies might be attracted to it. We have to keep them away from our territory or the makshift camp." she explained as she kicked a backpaw, sending the snake into the hole as she quickly covered it again.
Nanami nodded. "I dont want to eat it anyways." she barked, smiling slightly, trying to distract herself from what she had done.
(That ma be good. Poor Yeti! I have a plan for him, too, if we actually go through with this.)
(Cool. Alright. lol! Poor YetI! Everything really does always happen to him. *Sympathetic smile*)
Kira noticed her Apprintice's horror and tried to reasure her.
"It's okay," she barked as she rubbed against the young wolf.
"I remember the first time I killed prey. It felt so wrong! Taking the life of another animal- I mean, what makes THEM different from US? But then I realized through hunger pangs, it's part of nature. We have to survive, to hunt and kill is the only way. That snake could have killed you first." she said grimly as she sat down, ears slightly back.
Nanami nodded. "Yeah....I guess your right..." She flicked her ears nervously. "Should we get on with training?"
Kira nodded.
"Nice work there, though. Quick instincts and actions. That will serve useful for you and the pack." she barked as she stood and glanced around. She scented the air, her head tilted to the sky.
"That elk is gone now. Must've scared it off.." she mused.
"Can you scent anything else, Nanami?" she asked, again with a hinting flick of her ears.
Nanami lifted her nose, but smelled nothing but fear and blood. She shook her head.
Yeti smiled slightly to Saharah. "Im going to go scout by myself for a little bit. If I see anything, Ill howl." he barked, before trotting out of the makeshift camp.
Kira smiled and stepped closer to Nanami.
"Here's a trick. Dont just asume the current wind is where you will find the scents." she stood straight and turned around in a circle. "Try scenting once in every direction. I smell more prey." she said. She told her what she could scent just to help her along so she knew what she was looking for.
Saharah nodded, knowing he probably just wanted time alone for some reason... she thought to herself as she stood and laid her ears back. She tried not to let the pain show as her mate turned to leave and she looked at the sky.
"Your in charge- I'm checking out a area farther-" she quickly scanned around her. "that way." she waved her tail towards the north-east side of the makshift camp. She grinned to Shenzi and Frazko. "I'll be back soon." Or will I....
Nanami nodded slightly, scenting, but her mind wasnt in it.
Shenzi nodded slightly.
Yeti walked through the trees, deep in thought, when he arrived at a spot of bare cliffs. He sat down, relaxing until he saw a shape stalking quietly towreds him, the same color as the rocks. He tensed, standing up slowly. He threw his head back to howl for help, but the puma bared is teeth in a macabre smile and pounced.
A howl of anger and pain rose over the forest, cut short and silenced. Shenzi gasped, jumping to her feet. "That was Yeti's howl!" She quckly threw her head back and howling in return. She hoped Saharah would come back.
Saharah froze, her paws inches from crunching on loud leaves as she heard her mate's desperate howl. She gave a howl in return as she ran, tearing through the trees and leaping across the small streams and logs in her path. Once she slipped, the water splashing up onto her back and sending shivers down her spine but she kept up her pace, hard and fast towards her mate. As she broke from the forest to the cliffs she spotted the cougar and gave a battle roar, mixed with a plea for reinforcments from the pack.
Frazko stiffened beside Shenzi and rose to his feet, his hackles raised and and his ears perked for the slightest sound after Shenzi's howl faded away. A blast like a trumpet came instantly after Shenzi's- Saharah! Frazko relaxed slightly, knowing that Yeti would have his mate with him in a moment but he stayed tense and waiting. Every wolf in the pack was wide awake now. They had been settling down to sleep and it was just past dusk now and they were all bristling- with fear and anxiety.
Suddenly several things happened at once. Saharah's battle roar echoed across the forest as Shade and Rasho leapt to their feet and tore off towards the sound as Frazko leapt forward- orders streaming from his mouth at top speed.
"Blaze! Stay here and keep watch and order! Flare, Aroko, Shenzi, Rain, Leko and Hakara! Follow me!" he bellowed as he whipped around, his paws tearing up the dirt as he bolted towards Saharah and Yeti, his paws working fast- the other wolves were right beside him, jumping and ducking trees and logs in unison. Frazko gave a loud battle cry in response to Saharah's- alerting her and Yeti that help was coming.
By the time Saharah got there, Yeti was on the ground. Blood poured from claw and bit wounds, and the cougar had a wound on its neck. Yeti fainted soon before Saharah got there.
Drakon slipped out into the forest.
Shenzi charged after.
(Woah! *Dreamer holds up a paw* You had an AFFAIR with Saharah!? I'm outta here! *Pads away with tail up* :P That's a great plot though! And BTW, yes. Clover is in the cage. She is a small, golden pup with clover-colored eyes.)
Dreamer pushed against the wall when a two-leg approached her. She did something to the contraption, then swung open the webbing. Dreamer sped out, only to find more webbing and wolves."Where am I?" She demanded.
Clover looked over."Hi!" She padded over with a grin.
(Lol, Dreamer!)
Saharah gave a wail as Yeti fell before she raised her hackles in fear as another cougar came, standing beside the other as it began to slink towards Yeti to finish the kill.
Ash, a grey handsome young wolf, gave Dreamer a grin.
"Upright trap. I can get you out. I got caught again- wasnt paying attention." he said this all cheerfully as if he didnt have a care in the world and practically LIVED with uprights.
"Come on, this way-" he barked to her. Several wolves perked their ears in interest.
"You know how to get out?" they asked happily. Ash nodded carelessly and beconed them to follow.
Frazko and the others burst out onto the cliffs and the cougar halted, startled by the sudden movements and reinforcments but not at all un-nerved.
"ATTAAAAAACK!!!" bellowed Frazko.
Shenzi stood between Yeti and the cougar. "Rain! Go make sure Reamo is coming, tell hi its bad. Saharah, see if you can get Yeti to come to." SHe lowered her head and charged a cougar.
Leko barred his teeth and attacked.
Rain racked her mind trying to remember who Reamo was as she tore back towards the camp, a faint remembrance of a herb scented black wolf in her mind.
Kira stood in camp, pelt bristling.
"Reamo! It's bad!" she barked. "Cougars! Nanami and I were hunting- I saw them from where we were!" she called to her mate as she hurriedly told Nanami to stay by her siblings and Saharah's pups. Kira's own pups were beginning to walk and talk and they were being guarded by Mirage and *brain freeze...* Ice. (New wolf. Pretend she's been here a while. Since Talho pack invaded, howbout.)
Kira whipped back around, almost colliding with Rain who came pounding into camp, depseratly scenting.
"Where's-" she froze- trying to remember the name as she scented. "Reamo!" she barked as she scented him. She ran over to the black wolf and whined with urgency.
"Hurry! Cougars! Yeti's hurt- come quick! Follow me." she ordered as she turned back towards the cliffs.
Rasho and Shade flanked the Cougar who had attacked Yeti and snarled, running in a slashing and biting when they could. The cougar laid its ears back and gave a snarl as it lashed out with its sharp claws, once catching Shade on the shoulder causing blood to spew out onto the ground making a sickly red puddle. Shade took no notice and then at once, Shade and Rasho leapt for the cat's throat with intent to kill.
(What if they were brothers....*toys with strange random idea..*)
Reamo grabbed herbs quickly, bolting after Rain without any hesitation. Mentally he ran over poltices and wrappings for large wounds.
Shenzi faced the other cougar, lunging and ripping at its flesh, just barely avoiding its claws and teeth. The caugar stumbled slightly, and Shenzi lunged at its throat, the caugar roaring in surprise. It shook her off, and she landed with a thud, but was immeadiatly back on her feet, running to the cougar.
Flare rushed in to help Shenzi while Aroko did the same, taunting the cougar from behind to make it look away just as Shenzi and Flare would attack from the front.
The other cougar yowled and screeched as blood poured from a wound inflicted from Shade and Rasho. It lashed out again and this time cought Rasho on the chest, flinging him to the ground. Shade leapt off the lion and snarled as the cougar came close to the black motionless wolf. He lunged once more for the throat of the cougar but the feline had had enough. It whirled around with a lash of its tail and one more angry yowl and hiss before leaping expertly back down the cliffs away from the pack, dripping blood behind it.
The other cougar snarled with frustration, and after a final growl from Shenzi, turned and bolted to find easier prey. Shenzi watched it run with satisfaction before turning back to where Yeti lay. She stood, waiting to see what Saharah would do.
Saharah gave a final snarl at the cougar as it streaked after it's companion before glancing around to observe the injuries of the pack. She only suffered a broken claw that hurt and bled a little but nothing serious. She bounded over to her mate with a whimper.
"Yeti? Yeti! Can you hear me?" she murmured as she crouched beside him. Shade pawed at Rasho, concern in his eyes. Rasho gave a groan and slowly got to his feet. The two wolves swayed slightly on their paws. Shade's shoulder was still bleeding, but not as heavily as before. Rasho cleaned some of the blood off of Shade's shoulder where he couldnt reach very well as Shade gently licked Rasho's wound- slowing the blood flow and cleaning the wound from possible infection so it would heal properly.
(So sweet. So loyal. So gross..)
After a moment they sat back and gave each other a grin.
"Nice work," they congratulated each other. Rasho inhaled suddenly as he saw Yeti splayed on the cliff. He and Shade exchanged a meaningful, serious look before slowly limping over to Yeti along with the other wolves.
Rain and Aroko shook out their fur with satisfaction that they had been able to fight for their new pack. Neither were hurt- only minor scratched that only bled a little. Soon everybody was gathered around Yeti.
"Reamo- hurry!" Flare barked urgently.
Shenzi walked over the the group, limping slightly, and stood next to Frakzo. SHe was still shocked from being thrown by the cougar, but was trying not to show it. Claw marks trailed down her side but none were deep.
Yeti gave no signs of having heard anything his breathing was fast and shallow, as if her were gasping for air. Reamo stood over him, inspecting the wounds. "Theres not much that can be done." He said finnally. "It appears that it pounced on him. There are many broken bones. Theres little chance he'll live." Reamo bit his tounge to keep from crying out. He had never been in a situation as bad as this one. He squeezed a small amout of water from moss onto Yeti's face and the white wolf twitched slightly.
(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!)
Saharah suddenly was aware of her heart pounding out of her chest and everybody else was silent. She stared at her mate for a moment before turning to the other, showing her teeth.
"Back away!" she snarled. "He needs rest." she turned on Reamo. "Leave! Go back to the pack and tend to the other injured wolves," she growled. She waved her tail at Shade and Shenzi to stay and then whipped around and snarled at the others.
"Go now!" she snapped. Rain hurriedly trotted back towards the rest of the pack, Aroko close behin her, limping slightly. Rasho glanced at Shade and then followed the others, Frazko nuzzled his mate before glancing at Saharah and then leading the group towards the makeshift camp.
Reamo began to walk back, looking over his shoulder.
Shenzi waited, wondering why she and Shade had been asked to stay.
Saharah tried to stop the tears from trickling down her face and she turned her head away.
"Oh, Shenzi...what am I going to do.." she whispered to her friend. All the anger was gone and the pain was sinking in. If her mate died...
Shade glanced away, uncomfortable in the present situation with Saharah. He tried to focus on anything besides the alpha when he suddenly cought a scent. !
"Saharah..." Shenzi murmered, trying to come up with something to say. She tried to stay calm and out of the way for her friends sake, wondering why she was asked to stay.
**((Pretend I didnt say the "Suddenly he caught a scent". Thats going nowhere. XD))**
Saharah sniffed Yeti and gently burried her nose in his fur.
"Yeti.." she murmured. She looked at his sides, hardly moving and wondered how much longer he could last..
Shade muttered something and slipped away for a moment before returning quickly with poppy seeds and willow bark- pain killer and wound cleanser. He placed it beside the white alpha and backed away, his head and tail lowered, for Saharah to do whatever she wished. Saharah still had her eyes closed and Shade glanced at Shenzi.
(Random idea- Willow Bark..)
The rise and fall of Yeti's side grew weaker by the moment as a breeze shifted his white fur.
Shenzi nodded slightly, then back up silently, signalling for Shade to do so as well. She felt like she was intruding on Saharah's mourning.
(DONT YOU DARE, SHENZI!!!)
Saharah slowly lay down beside her mate, ignoring the herbs- knowing her mate wouldnt be able to eat them right now anyway. She pushed her nose into his fur, tears slipping from her muzzle to his before she sat up slowly and gave a long slow howl.
( I swear, Shenzi- if you do......)
(Im sorry, I really need to do this!)
As Saharah howl, Yeti's breathing grew stronger. His eyes flickered, and the faint smell of Kazrah drifted over the clearing.
(You really think I could kill off Yeti? You must be crazy)
(My heart like, dropped and I couldnt believe you said that- then I read your bottom addition. T_T lol)
(Do you want me to role-play Kazrah like, saying it's not his time or something corny?)
Saharah's mourning howl rose and fell across the forest, sending echoes bouncing eerily off the cliffs and resounding in every direction. Shade lowered his head, not joining in with the howl but instead leaving it for Saharah to mourn alone.
(Might as well do the Kazrah thing. Not much better to do)
Shenzi sat bolt upright, scenting Kazrah, her face filled with shock. She looked back over at Yeti and watched as the white wolf opened his eyes ever so slightly, and breath stronger.
Saharah's howl stopped abruptly as she scented Kazrah and her eyes widened.
"Kazrah..!" she whispered as she stood, her tail raised slightly. Shade looked startled as he sniffed the air and backed up slightly.
Slowly a stary wolf materialized in front of Saharah. Kazrah!
"Saharah," she murmured, brushing against the young alpha. She gazed warmly at Shenzi and padded over, yet her paws never touched the ground.
"Shenzi..." she murmured to her friend as she touched noses. She smiled at Shade as he wacthed her curiously.
"And you, Shade have done well protecting the pack." she smiled as she looked back at Shenzi and Saharah. Saharah's eyes were misty as she gazed at her old friend.
"Kazrah," she choked out. Words could not express her feelings but the former Alpha understood and she dipped her head.
"You both have healthy young pups. Mentored too." she smiled. "You have done well, Shenzi, Kazrah," she dipped her head as she spoke and looked at each wolf in turn. She turned to Yeti.
"He is badly injured- but he will survive." she murmured. She looked back at her friends. "You are close to your destination. Dont lose hope." she murmured as she gazed into their eyes.
"Take Yeti back to camp and give him this." she bent down and picked up a starry substance that looked like some herb and then it materialized into some strange herb with no stars and she set it at Saharah's paws.
"You both have done so well leading the pack," she repeated as she nuzzled both of them.
"I've missed you so much.." whispered Saharah as she let tears roll down her face.
Shenzi was completly unsure of what to say. "Kazrah..." she whispered.
Yeti seemed to relaz in Kazrah's presence, his eyes closing slightly.
Kazrah smiled at Shenzi.
"I've missed both of you. I must leave now. Give the herbs to Yeti and continue your journey soon. YOu are alost there." she said warmly. Then in a quieter voice, "You have served the pack well, Shenzi and Saharah." Saharah dipped her head with respect as the former alpha did the same before slowly fading away till there was nothing there.
Shenzi murmered, "Kazrah.." before looking to Saharah, then down to Yeti. "I dont think its safe to carry him to camp." she barked quietly.
Saharah slowly nodded in agreement but looked back to where Kazrah had been and her scent still lingered.
"But Kazrah said..." she murmured. She picked up the herbs and put them in Yeti's mouth.
"Oh, Yeti! Please chew them...please.." she whispered.
Shade watched from a distance, taking in all that had happened.
Yeti's mouth and body were slack, and he didnt chew or swallow.
Shenzi stepped foreward hesitantly, and carefully stroked Yeti's throat with her paw, trying to make him swallow.
Saharah swallowed. Was Kazrah wrong..? Would he survive...was he even alive..?
"Check...check his pulse.." Sahrah choked out.
Shenzi stroked his throat fore a second more. He swallowed! Shenzi felt only a little pride in the achievment. She bent closer, listening. "He's still alive." she barked softly.
Saharah heaved a sigh of relief and Shade silently howled his joy in his mind.
"Praise Starpack," breathed Saharah. "Do you know what those herbs were..?" she suddenly asked with confusion written on her face.
Shenzi shrugged. "I have no idea." she barked.
After a few moments, Yeti opened his eyes hazily.
"Yeti!" Saharah barked with relief.
"Are you okay?" she asked as she touched noses with him, almost crying with relief.
It took a moment before Yeti could speak. "Saharah..." he barked weakly. "What...happened?"
"Cougars." she growled. "They attacked you." she murmured. "Kazrah came to us. She gave us herbs to get you well." she smiled gently as she lay beside Yeti.
"Kazrah..." Yeti barked, looking confuesed. "How could she....come?"
Saharah groped desperatly for words.
"She came..as a...a...a starry wolf..from Starpack.." she tried to explain as she glanced at Shenzi for help.
(We need to speed things up a bit,,)
Shenzi stepped back slightly, trying to give the two wolves privacy.
Yeti focused for a moment. "Did she look happy?" he asked.
(Yeah...)
Shade glanced awkwardly at Shenzi before intently focusing on something distant.
Saharah smiled slightly.
"Yes." she finally responded.
(Go for it, Shenzi.)
Shenzi backed away silently, laying down in the bushes on the edge of the clearing and licking her wounds carefully, watching out of the corner of her eye.
Yeti looked thoughtfull. "Good." He attempted to stand, but fell just as quickly, bonking into the ground and honly hurting himself more. He groaned self-consiously.
"Yeti, Yeti- dont try to stand," breathed Saharah. "Your hurt. Badly." she said as she placed a paw on his shoulder gently.
"Shenzi, Shade- go back to the pack and get help so we can get him back." she barked. Shade jumped to his paws, carefully keeping his leg off the ground so it wouldn't hurt his wounds and then began to hurry back to camp.
Shenzi nodded, walking at Shades pace back to camp.
Yeti was silent, trying to take it all in. "No, please dont bring other wolves here." he said finnally.
Shade stopped and turned.
"Uh.." he paused and looked at Saharah and Shenzi.
Saharah looked at her mate.
"But..you need help."
"Please, Saharah" Yeti looked to his mate pleadingly. "Or dont let other wolves come until late. Please"
Saharah hesitated and then nodded.
"Go back to camp, Shade," she looked at her friend. ""You too, Shenzi. Please. Tell them we'll be back soon.." she barked. She turned to her mate.
"What.." she murmured.
Shenzi nodded slightly, quickening to a trot but nothing faster than Shade could move.
Yeti let out a breath of air, laying his head down. Guilt cut into him like a stone, knowing he had been moody and bad to his mate over the journey. He figured that if he died dipite Kazrahs herbs, he should at least apoloze for being so bad to his mate.
Saharah whimpered into his fur.
"Yeti...tell me... whats wrong...?" she asked.
Dreamer followed him."Good, I need to get back to my pack. And back to Rasho." She sighed, missing him.
Clover quickly pounded after him."Really!? You can set us all free?" She asked excitedly, her paws trembling.
Ash nodded simply.
"Yeah. I-" he broke off as if he was about to give out secret information but changed his mind.
"I know how." he barked as he glanced around. He scented the surrounding air in the enclosure for a moment before turning towards a large wall and standingon his hind paws reaching up. He pawed at something sticking out of the wall for a moment before the large wall swung open and light flooded them- the outside world mere pawsteps away.
He ran forwards but was suddenly forced to halt as something stood in front of him and on all sides of him- encluding the sky.
"Fence." he muttered. He turned apologeticly to the group.
"Cant get through this. Not as a group. See if you can copy what I do but you've gotta be quick." he barked. He glanced around the area- spotting some rocks and trees in the pen. They were apparently put there to make the wolves feel at 'home'. He nodded to himself, glanced at Dreamer and Clover once more and then ran across the dirt towards a rock. It seemed to go in slow motion as he bunched his legs together, his muscles taut before springing to the top of the rock and leaping from the rock to the highest point of the fence and then clawing his way up before leaping gracefully down.
"Good luck." he barked.
Yeti was silent for a moment. "Im sorry...that since we left the territory.....Ive been...so...selfish. I wasnt thinking about you or the pups. Im sorry." He stops, though he knows theres so much more he should apologize for.
Saharah turned her face away from him- wanting to hide her own feelings.
"Yeti...it's fine. The journey has us all stressed." she murmured.
Yeti's heart sank when he saw her turn away. "No, its not fine." he barked weakly.
Saharah turned to him, taking a deep breath.
"Yeti," she began. She wondered where to start. "There....there's something I need to tell you.." she said quietly.
(I'm not sure I wanna do that Rasho thing...it's pretty awkward. Opinion?)
(Well.....your call.)
Yeti nodded slightly, listening, not wanting to interupt, not opening his eyes.
(!! No! Help me!!!!! What do you think? Honest opinion?)
Saharah shifted her paws uneasily.
(I can change it to something else..)
(Do it unless you have anything better)
(..mm....uhh.....erm.......*blank stare* *sigh*)
Saharah looked at her paws.
"Yeti...remember how I told you Kazrah's last words...were that she didn't blame you...?" she asked quietly, her eyes firmly on her paws that were digging into the dirt.
Dreamer ran forward eagerly. She knew she could copy those moves, she was a wolf of Mistypack! She was about to take off, but skidded to a halt. SHe turned and saw Clover staring sadly at the fence."I can't do that." She whimpered sadly."I'm just a pup." Dreamer sighed and padded to her."I'll take you with me." She offered kindly, hearing from this pup that she had no home."Really!?" Clover smiled up at Dreamer, who was much taller. Dreamer smiled, nodded, and grabbed Clover by her scruff. She then copied Ash's movement's and was soon over the fence. She turned to the other wolves."Every do the same! Carry any pups!" She yelled through Clover's fur, then dashed into the trees.
"Yeah." Yeti barked emotionlessly, trying to block out the pain.
Ash looked impressed at how quickly Dreamer followed his motions and nodded at the rest of the few wolves in the enclosure.Soon everybody was out and going heir seperate ways- home or anywhere besides that place.
Ash ran to catch up to Dreamer.
"Hey, wait up!" he called. His paws pounded across the earth as came up beside her.
"Where are you-" he broke off as a wolf came running over to them, skidding to a halt.
"Dreamer!" barked Flare happily. "You escaped!!" she turned back and gave a howl- alerting the others with her.
"The pack moved on- we stayed behind to wait for you and see if we could find you." she explained quickly. She glanced at Ash.
"And you are..?" she asked him as she turned to the handsome wolf.
Saharah looked at her paws.
"Well...(shoot. I cant take back my former comment! I have NO clue where I'm goign with this..)..those were her last words..but..Kazrah told me....before the fight...(uhhhhhhh)...Oh, Yeti!" she pushed her face into his fur as she sobbed aloud.
(HELP)
Yeti clenched his teeth in pain, unsure of what to say. He nuzzled her softly.
(Ummmmmmm....uhhhhhh)
(AAH! HELP! Oo- I know.)
Saharah opened her mouth to speak but suddenly Shade came running back.
"The pack needs you! Some wolves are sick."
Yeti immeadiatly attempted to stand again, hoping to run and help. When he got to his feet, his legs were shakey and her kept the leg that was shot off the ground. His face was a mask of pain, but he said nothing.
Saharah's face was worried.
"yeti,, are you okay? Shade! Alert Reamo and send wolves to get herbs!" she ordered quickly.
"I need to get back to help" Yeti barked determinedly. "I know enough about healing to help."
Saharah nodded and quickly began to help her mate as they hurried back towards camp.
Dreamer gently set Clover on the ground. She nuzzled Flare in a friendly manner."It's great to see you! And it's okay, we can catch up." She glanced at Ash, then back to Flare."This is Ash, he helped me and all the trapped wolves escape!" She smiled."Did Rasho stay back with you guys?"
Yeti sniffed as they got closer to camp. "Where are they?" he asked Shade.
Flare wondered if Dreamer would feel abandoned or deserted by him.
"He...he had to go with the pack.." she said hesitantly, glancing at Dreamer's face.
Ash put two and two together and figured out that Rasho must be her mate or something. He stepped back slightly so the two wolves could talk.
Shade gestured with a paw, his eyes concerned. Several wolves were at the far side of the clearing, concideratly trying not to get any other wolves sick. They coughed and shivered with sickness as they lay miserably on the ground beside each other.
(Name wolves. Mine -and yours if you want-. Make it interesting! ^_^)
(Im just going to name my wolves, Im not sure who you want)
Kurow shivered, trying to sleep.
Reamo walked through the group carefully, giving out the few herbs he had though he didnt look well himself.
Drakon lay near the edge of the group, not letting anyone get near him. He shivered intensly, small piles of herbs lay near him but he wouldnt eat.
Maki, a loner who came with Drakon and the others, lay miserably huddled on the ground. She shivered and sniffed, wrapping her tail closer around her nose to keep her warmer.
(Ugh! Breeze (my kitten) licked me this morning and I'm allergic to cat saliva- I need to wash my face >AGAIN< but it's kinda funny- I feel sick myself. I feel their pain. :( X) )
(Lucky you. I just had to sing my voice out for 3 hours AFTER playing sax for an hour. I can barely talk)
Reamo approched Drakon, trying to get the scarred wolf to eat the herbs, but Drakon growled when Reamo got close. Reamo glanced up, and seeing Yeti and Saharah, trotted over, sneezing but trying to hide it.
(Ugh! Why'd you have to sing?)
(I have a bunch more Fan Art I can post- and I will post it soon. I'm gonna make a Fan Art page. :] )
Saharah stayed a fair distance away. She hated to see them sick- but she couldnt risk getting sick herself by moving closer.
She glanced around the area with unease. If the whole pack got it...Reamo sneezed and she felt her heart pounding.
"Reamo..! You're sick!" she gasped. She whirled to face Yeti.
"We have to find the herbs to help them. I think I know some," she barked with a frown of concentration.
"You're injured, Yeti- stay away from them, you can't get sick too!" she pleaded as she whirled around and ran into the forest to look for herbs.
Kasha, the black wolf, stood a little ways away from Rasho.
"Cougar got you," she barked, more stating the obvious than questioning. Rasho nodded, surprised that she was being so calm and not distant.
"..Yeah. It's not bad though.." he muttered as he tried to lick his shoulder.
"I have to keep working..." Reamo murmered quietly, mosly to himself. "Go, rest." Yeti barked to Reamo. "But-" Yeti cut him off. "Now, Reamo." Reamo nodded in submission, laying down at the base of a tree.
(Oops- I re-read that last comment and that sounded so rude! I meant- "Ugh" at barely being able to talk and then "Why did you have to sing" on the next part. lol! Sorry!)
Saharah searched the forest, sniffing and scenting everywhere. She cotinued this for a while but finally she turned back to the camp and go a diferent direction but suddenly she caught the scent she was looking for.
"Yes!" she barked aloud. She followed her nose and found teh pile of green herbs she had scented. She carefully grabbed the herbs in her mouth and suddenly realized there was a lot of nearby herbs of the same kind and others all around her.
I wonder.... she shrugged and ran back towards camp with the herbs that hopefully would help the sick wolves.
She placed the herbs at the paws of her mate.
"Yeti! We need to talk in a second," she barked as she passed. She carefully seperated the herbs into piles and gave the sick wolves a pile each.
"I learned about this herb when I was a loner," she explained. "I hope it helps."
Dreamer's tail drooped."Oh, I understand." She quickly replaced her frown e=with a smile, then looked down at Clover."Do you think she may join Mistypack? She has no home."
Clover looked at Flare pleadingly with her adorable pup smile.
Flare nodded quickly.
"Of course! Come on though, we need to catch up to them now." she barked. She glanced at Ash questioningly and he nodded. He would follow them.
They ran through the forest, making sure Clover could keep up, at a quick pace.
"They arnt that far ahead--" Flare barked. "They went slowly." right as she ended her sentance they could see the wolves in the distance. Ash never chanegd his expression but suddenly informed them-
"Somebody in the camp is sick."
Drakon didnt even lift his head when the herbs were delived, he gave them a slightly longing look but did not move.
Yeti barked quietly to Saharah, "Saharah.... could you see if you can get Drakon to eat the herbs? Id love to help, but I have the feeling you ouldnt want me to."
Saharah nodded.
"Then we need to talk," she barked. She turned to Drakon and lifted the herbs, placing them closer to him.
"Eat them-" she urged pleadingly. "They will take away your sickness."
Drakon didnt make a move towred them. "Give them to a wolf who the herbs will cctually help." he barked, coughing.
Saharah looked helplessly at Yeti before turning back to Drakon, nudging the herbs towards him once more.
"They have herbs-" she barked. She turned and trotted over to her mate, glancing at the other sick wolves.
"Yeti, come here.." she murmured as she lead the way to a comfortable spot in the clearing.
(lol- first it was just the forest- now it's suddenly a clearing. Ha ha ha!)
(We should acctually decide their landscape and stick with it.)
Yeti padded after, sitting when they reached the spot. "Yes?"
(Funny you should say that-)
Saharah turned to her mate.
"Yeti....We've had to stay here longer because of waiting for Dreamer and the sick wolves..and...well......look around." many wolves had dug small dens and cleared out spaces. She broke out in a grin.
"Welcome to MistyPack Territory!"
"Oh no," Dreamer paused."Can you tell who it is?" She tried to sniff the air, but was over-whelmed by the stench of disease.
Clover looked at the older wolves with worry.
(Here is a pic of her. Can her personality be that you find out during RP? I'm just too lazy to type too much right now XD http://2.bp.blogspot.com/__2eJIHIF-6Q/TDUCAFnu6mI/AAAAAAAACAw/2uhqxFlqCyI/s1600/Jade.jpg And she slowly develops a crush on Sako )
Yeti nodded slowly. "It'll work- Not to many uprights, but for a while at least we'll need extra potrol to watch for predators."
(Sure, Chilepanda!)
Saharah leaned against her mate and inhaled slowly, glad they were safe and finally had a territory.
(PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!!!)
She turned to where the camp was now and called to a few wolves to find and create good borders.
(Name your wolves. :D )
"Shoulbnt we make the announcement first?" Yeti asked, licking her cheek.
(*lays ears back and head low with embarassment*...)
["Oh....yeah,"]
Aroko looked quizzicaly at the alpha.
"We're staying here?" he asked, his head tilted slightly. Saharah nodded. She jumped on to (the magical higher log/stump/rock that is always there,) the log that lay on the side of the camp and howled. When every wolf had gathered, and the sick wolves were listening, she spoke.
"Wolves of Misty Pack...my mate and I have decided to make this our territory!" she proclaimed happily. Howls of excitment rose from the pack and Frazko leaned against Shenzi.
"We made it!" he breathed.
Dreamer yowled happily and entered the clearing, Clover trailing behind her. She glanced around for Rasho, even though she remembered he wasn't around.
(I still want to kill Haku, can we just say he died in a trap? Or maybe he never existed?)
(AAAAAAAAAAAGH! DON'T KILL HIM!!!!! I can rename him Ninja and use him if you really don't want him.)
["Yowled"...?]
Flare howled long and loud with the others. They were back, and they were staying!! Ash sat off to the side for a moment until Saharah came over. He quickly jumped to his paws and introduced himself, saying he would like to try out living in Mistypack if he could.
"Fine by me," barked Saharah. "Welcome to Mistypack, Ash." she said warmly. Several wolves crowded around to meet him and some others left for Border Marking, chattering excitedly.
Shenzi licked Frazko's cheek, pressing against him. "Finnally." she breathed.
Yeti sat down watching the wolves reactions.
Drakon slept through it all, knowing the announcment was being made but not paying any attention. "Like in staying." he mutttered under his breath.
(LOL I meant howled, and you can have him, I don't want him.)
Dreamer smiled, and looked down at Clover."How old are you?" She asked."6 moons." Clover straightened herself proudly. Dreamer nodded."I'd say you're just about old enough to train." She said kindly, making Clover's eyes gleam.
(That is the age for the wolves, right?)
Manpuku ran over to Clover. "Im Manpuku!" he barked, somewhat out of breath. He smiled, his tail beating with excitment. Nanami sprinted behind him, tripping over his paws.
(Yup)
Kari and Sako were directly behind them, Delta following calmly.
"Hey," Delta barked easily. "I'm Delta."
Clover giggled at Nanami's silly entrance."I'm Clover!" She barked happily, tail wagging. Finally, plenty of wolves her age!"Are you all from this pack?" She asked in wonder.
Dreamer smiled at them, then slid away to eat some prey.
(Now I'll make an official bio for Clover)
(Well, technically, Saharah+Yeti's pups and Shenzi+Frazko's pups are like, 6/7 and a half months old...)
Flare lay down, exausted from the run and excited from the news that they were STAYING here. .(Too lazy to use italics...)
Sako grinned at Clover.
"Do you know how to hunt?" asked Kari with a kind smile. "I've just learned.
Kuni ran over, standing next to Kari. "Im Kuni!" he barked. "Im going to be an legendary fighter some day, like my dad!" He puffed his chest out, smiling.
(Zoraz, Kuni and Kari have got to be mates one day, they are like perfect for eachother.)
(Awwww! How cute! Like his dad! X3)
Kari grinned at Kuni slyly.
"Correction--My dad is the greatest fighter ever," she teased.
(Totally, dude.)
"Your dad cant go a day without nearly getting himself killed!" Kuni yipped playfully.
(That's adorable XP)
Clover turned her eyes to the ground, shuffling her paws in embarrassment."I only know how to catch birds." She smiled to herself."I've been kept in captivity for almost 2 moons."
Kari snorted but had no reply.
She grinned again and tackled him playfully.
Sako nodded.
"Well you'll lear soon. You'll be apointed a mentor!" he exclaimed.
Kuni dodged playfully and tackled her from the side, playbiting her shoulder.
Kari suddenly yelped in pain and lifted her paw, whimpering, her eyes shut against the pain. Her paw was bleeding.
"Kari!" Kuni barked, stopping immeadiatly. "Umm, Yeti! Kari is hurt!" he barked for the white wolf.
Kari licked her paw gingerly.
"I'm fine," she barked. "I just stepped on a nettle.." she whimpered slightly
"Nettle!" Clover exclaimed."Then you may want to stand in the stream. Those things make you itchy!"
(She meant like a stinging nettle, correct?)
(correct!)
Kari nodded stiffly, embarrassed at having stpidly hurt herself in fron tof Kuni.
"Okay." she turned and limped towards the creek, her pelt burning.
Clover smiled."I hope you feel better!" She called after Kari. "Try eating some dandelions too!"
Kuni went with Kari, and after a moment, bent down. "Let me help." he barked as he helped support her weight.
Kari blushed and felt her pulse quicken as he touched her.
She didn't speak but avoided his gaze- unable to look him in the eyes because she feared she would be locked in a trance or something.
Clover smiled and flicked her ears, noticing Kari."She likes him." She whispered to Sako with a grin. She then started kneading her paws.
Kuni blushed slightly, his head low until they got to the small creek. He dipped a paw in the water, watching the water swirl around it.
Sako nodded stiffly and turned and walked away.
(Uhh...I dont think wolves knead their paws.. XD)
Kari dipped her paw in and tensed as she felt the harsh cold sweep across her paw but she didnt take it out.
(Sorry I meant shuffled!)
Clover looked around. She saw a small gap in some bushes. She looked around, then bounded to it and slipped through.
"Is it feeling better?" Kuni asked carefully.
(lolz. It's fine either way.)
Sako heard the noise but thougt nothing of it and continued to walk towards some wolves who were dragging branches to make a border of the camp.
(Hey, could Clover maybe be slightly magical? Slightly?)
Clover bounded through the forest, making sure her footing was careful so that she didn't trip over her own paws. She then skidded to a halt by a stream.
(Sorry, but no.)
Delta spotted her, hunting out by himself and crouched beside a bush downwind of her and hidden.
(Dang, now I don't know what to do. XD)
Clover glanced around carefully. She moved a paw up to her shoulder, parting the fur and revealing a nasty scar. Her green eyes shimmered, and she looked to the sky. Flashbacks of the two-legs filled her vision."Mom... Dad..." She whimpered sadly as they fell cold and lifeless to the ground.
(Best I could do XD)
(Lolz. How bout she has special like, hyper sensitive senses? Not like, magical, or like Dovepaw in Warrior Cats [if you read them,] but like...she has a really powerfull nose or something. Can sort of sense danger or something...You could try playing with that. :D )
Delta felt the cold shadow across his body and knew his black fur was well hidden. He felt a pang of pity for the small wolf as she whimpered and sighed, wondering if there was anything he could do.
All of the sudden, Nanami burst across the stream, running towred camp. Her eyes were wild with panic and her fur matter with blood. She bounded though the stream, not even bothering to slow down, and sprinted into camp. "Yeti! Saharah! Shenzi! A-" She coughed, blood splattering on the ground. "A bunch of wolves just almost killed me! They only let me go because they said to tell you that they're claiming the territory and theres nothing we can do!" She fell to the ground, panting wildly.
The tears jumped out of Clover's eyes, immediately stopping. She ran after Nanami.
(Really!? Awesome thanks!)
Delta was right behind her, flying into the camp beside her, panic and question in his eyes.
Frazko came tearing across the camp clearing.
"NANAMI! YOUR HURT!!" he gasped, his eyes wide with horror.
Saharah came running over dishing out orders.
"Yeti! Gather a patrol! Reamo--help Nanami! Send sombody for herbs! LETS MOVE!" she bellowed. Rain and Aroko ran over to Saharah as she whirled around.
"We'll go-" Aroko barked. Saharah gestured them towards Yeti and turned back to some others.
"Kurrow- secure the camp. Place guards around the area." she barked. She ran across the clearing to Rasho and Shade.
"Place scouts into the forest or on cliff edges. Alert Yeti or myself at anything strange."
she turned around, her face grim. They would fight. And they would win.
Shenzi sprinted out of her den, running to her daughter. "Nanami!" she cried, immeaditly, licking the blood off her head.
Yeti looked around. "I want all pups and queens sucured inside a den! If these wolves are willing to hurt a pup as you as Nanami, who knows what else they'll do. Anyone who wants to fight, be ready to come. Nanami." he asked, looking down at the pup. "How many of them were there?"
Nanami looked up, panting. "It was as big as Mistypack." she barked through breaths.
"Wait!" Clover ran to Saharah."Let me come! I know where they are! I can smell them!" She called, looking up hopefully.
Saharah turned to the small wolf, a strange firey glint in her eye.
"No, CLover. I admire your courage, but look what they did to Nanami. How could I let that happen to you?" a pained look showed in her eyes as she looked at Nanami's bleeding form. She licked some blood from the young wolf's ear and turned back.
"Drakon! We will need your strength and cunning to help us in this battle." she called.
Rasho and Shade tore across the ground towards the cliffs. Two other wolves were behind them to help scout.
"One of you follow me to the cliffs on this side-" barked Shade as he veered off.
(You can have it be one of your guys's wolves if you want. Make one up. :P)
Delta stared at Nanami, his eyes wide.
"As big as Mistypack!?" he gasped.
Kagu came running to her sister.
"Nanami!" she yelped. "You're hurt!!!"
"I'll help you-" barked Tahoe to Kurrow.
Drakon, who had previously been lying under a tree figuring no one would notice him, looked up. "Me?" the scarred gray wolve ask, confuesed, his icey eyes questioning, but with a hint of doubt.
(OOOHH PERFECT IDEA!! EMAIL ME ZORAZ!!!!!*Faints* Too perfect to be true!!!)
Leezor galloped after Shade, following him when he veered off.
Shenzi countinued to lick Nanami's head for a moment, then turned to Frazko. "I assume your going to fight?" she asked. "I guess I wont be fighting this battle." she barked, almost dejectedly, glancing at her swollen belly.
Nanami looked hazily at the wolves around her, not answering ant questions through her panting.
Clover frowned."I'll be fine! I'm great at hiding! Besides, I can help you find them a lot easier!" She begged.
Dreamer padded up."No CLover, you're too young." She grabbed her scruff and stepped back.
(XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD)
"Yes! Hurry up and get moving! And you," she barked at the black female.
"Kasha. My name is Kasha." she muttered as she jumped to her paws.
Shade panted beside the cliff edge.
"We'll keep watch here." he barked firmly, glancing around.
"Yes, Shenzi. I have to defend my pack...and my mate." he murmured as he licked her face.
Kagu whimpered and licked her sister worriedly.
"That's final!" barked Frazko to Clover as he passed.
Saharah, if you don't mind, i would like to help fight against this pack. but if it is nessisary i will stay back and defend the queens and pups
-Shur'tugal
Clover ears flattened against her head and she scowled. She wriggled out of Dreamer's grasp and dashed into the bushes.
"Clover!" Dreamr cried, running after her."Dung!" She growled. Clover's scent was masked by the mist coming off the river, and since she was small she easily his in the tall grass.
Saharah nodded.
"Shur'tugal, tell Yeti I aprove you fighting-" she commanded before turning away.
Flare glanced at where Clover had left. She snarled with annoyance and bolted after her.
Clover raced through the grass as silently and quickly as she could. She quickly swerved to the right, rolled in some toadstools, then ran for the river. She put her nose to the air, and followed it, leaping across on stones.
Shenzi licked Frazko's cheek as she watched him leave, her heart pounding.
Drakon blinked, standing up.
Yeti barked, "Shur'tugal! You and Kasha are in the front with me!"
*dips head and races to the front feeling the adrinelin rush* bring it on opponents *smirks (if they can... XD)*
"Are you sure your up to it?" Yeti asked Shur'tugal.
Dreamer ran up to Yeti."I hate to break it to you, but Flare and I can't find Clover! She ran off!"
Clover skidded to a halt in front of some ferns. She peered through seeing a large pack of wolves. She smiled to herself, the turned around."I'll wait till they leave camp, then show them where the wolves are! Then they'll now I'm responsible!" She whispered to herself.
*looks surprised* of course! i feel like ive slept all day! *flexes claws*
-Shur'tugal
Ytei turned from Shurtugal momentairly, looking to Dreamer, growling in frustration. "Go into the woods where you think she went, and yell. Tell her she'll be grounded in camp for a moon if she doesnt come back. Tell her I said so." He was snarling by the time he was done speaking. As he turned away, he snarled, "We dont have TIME for this!"
Saharah growled low in her throat.
"If Clover isn't back here before we leave she will be banished from mistypack!" she snarled. "Tell her that. She can't be far,"
Might as well go ahead now, she can be punished later, do you want to stay or not?
-Shur'tugal
*races up to others* what? WHAT IS GOING ON?!
-Leaf
*paces back and forth* come ONNNNNNN we need to GOOOOOOOOO *sniffs impatiently* We can find her later!
Yeti snarled frustratedly. "These wolves are MURDERERS! Their willing to attack a pup like Nanami and onlt spare her to bring messages!! They'd likely kill her is they find her! Were are NOT leaving until she's safe! Also, at the very least, its better if they attack us here, because they cant take their entire fighting force and we know the area better. And at the very least, IM alpha, and you must do as I say!" He snarled, his tail raised in dominence. "Unless you really want to leave CLover to DIE!"
*dips head* i'm sorry Yeti-san (san= an honorific suffix for someone you respect)i was not thinking, your reasoning has fact. but u musnt get so worked up easily, it isnt healthy *sits down patiently and waits while Leaf runs around trying to find out what was going on*
Yeti snarled. "Were talking about a pups LIFE! Do NOT tell me how I should react when two wolves want to leave a pup to die." He turned away, jumping onto the fallen tree they used for announcements and sitting down.
Shenzi came up apologetically to Shurtugal. "He does get worked up easily." she barked. "But your best bet is to listen without arguement. Normally he's calmer, but he's very protective over younger wolves."
Dreamer nodded briskly. She whipped around, ran back to the river. And yelled.
Clover pricked her ears. She could hear Dreamer loud and clear, but the other wolves seem to take no notice. She sighed, she hadn't even been here a day yet. She raced off, but at a different angle, eventually skidding a halt in front of Saharah."I'm sorry," She panted."But I already found them for you! Go across the stream, then turn right, over all those boulders, and they're hiding in a glade." She shrank down and slunk back to Dreamer, who glared down at her.
*frowns* Clover, you shouldn't have run off like that, still it is good that you found them
Saharah gave Clover an icy stare and raised her tail, showing her teeth slightly.
"Never run off again!" she growled. She sniffed the air and turned to her mate.
"She's right. They are close..." she muttered, a frown on her face.
mabe if we let them attack us first we can act suprised and then we can act like we were beaten and sneak up behind them *says softly pondering*
-Shur'tugal
oy, i give up! *runs back into a den* it was pointless anyways *she mumbles and falls asleep*
-Leaf
Saharah whipped around to face Shur-tugal.
"WE WILL NOT PRETEND THAT WE ARE WEAK!" she snarled.
Kasha gave Leaf a disgusted look and straightened up slightly, waiting for Yeti to gather the rest of the battle patrol.
Clover crouched closer to the ground, then backed away to the other pups her age.
Sako gave Clover a sideways glance and then looked the oposite direction.
Clover sighed, pawing at a leaf. She barely caught Sako's glance."I wish I was this brave a few moons ago." She murmured quietly to herself. Maybe, by some miracle, she could have stopped that wolf from killing her parents.
