Story So Far (SSF):

When complications hit Mistypack, Saharah (the alpha) decided to take instant action against the invading uprights, shortage of food and overall bad territory. They then put some distance between that territory (around 200 miles worth) even with the new pups of the alphas and betas. Long story short, an enemy wolf was recruited, then turned against them and became alpha by force. Terror and bad times followed his reign and a battle is currently raging.

Kuni and Kari's story can be followed at the Fresh Kill link below the chat box on the right sidebar.

An uprising started by Sako surged through the pack and they revolted against the guards. The battle is raging and wolves from both sides are falling. Who will triumph? Add your attacks to the battle by commenting in the newest post!

Pack Meeting:

Saharah stood up after finishing a rabbit and feeding her pups some of the chewed meat. As she glanced at the sky she saw it was turning to pink; dawn already, she thought as she shook her fur. She sent her young pups over to play with her Beta, Shenzi’s pups and then looked around for a area higher than the ground to address the pack. The young alpha spotted a mossy log and trotted over, then, standing on it she howled for attention. Saharah waited for a moment for the wolves to gather before she spoke.
"I have some news from the Scouts, Rasho and Shade and also my beta Frazko." she began as she looked around at the upturned faces with pricked ears. "You remember Rasho found strange upright things like very hard spider webs, large and long, trapping elk in Mistypack Territory?" she said, more reminding than asking. There were murmurs and nods from the pack as they looked semi-concerned. "Well Rasho and Shade found more of them." she continued slowly. "Containing wolves!" the pack murmurs turned to snarls and barks of hatred and annoyance. Saharah raised a paw for silence and continued. "I discussed this with the beta’s and my mate and we have decided to see if we can help them escape the uprights." she waited for the pack to comment but most of them stayed silent, concidering and thinking it through.
"What can we do? I thought Rasho said it was impossible for wolf jaws to tear through it. How else can we help them escape?" questioned Blaze as he looked at the alpha quizzically. Saharah shook her head.
"We will see what we can do," she stated. "Also Hikari and Kurow were hunting- Hikari tried to kill a large buck but it threw her into a tree and she was hurt. Reamo and Flare are with her with herbs to help her, but she is unable to travel right now-" she said as she began to wrap things up. Murmurs and winces rippled through the pack as they sympathized with the gorgeous young wolf.
"And unless anybody has a question, I need to go see Hikari- she needs rest though, please do not go to her." she dipped her head to the pack and turned to Felicia and said, "I also need you to get a hunting patrol." as she leapt off the log. The pack broke up, muttering and talking with each other about the journey and the trapped wolves.

Frazko fell over, laughing. Glad to see his mate playing he jumped to his paws and let out a long joyous howl.

(Great.)

Rasho stepped forward again.
"Any ideas?" he asked Rain, glancing at the other wol but saying nothing.

(This gray wolf in the cage, for some reason I LOVE this guy! Ive already drawn like 20 pics of him... Now all I need to do is thing of a name. I need something epic and fight-y or dark or bloodish. He rocks. I DEFINETLY need to have him join the pack!!! I think the name Slash or Slasher would be good for him, but I need something perfect.)

Shenzi joined Frazko in the howl, the notes vaulting into the sky.

The scarred gray wolf(Thats my big thing, he is lke covered in scars) met Rasho's eyes for a moment. "Just flip the latch." he barked, his voice revealing no feeling. His muscles rippled under his pelt as he stood of, laying down in a shadowy corner, only his ice blue eyes standing out in the darkness.

Zoraz said...

Rasho gave a puzzled look and suddenly felt stupid.
"Latch..." the word sounded strange yet familier on his tongue. Suddenly memories floated back to his mind. He was trapped in a upright place, surrounded by fence and other strange things, then his paw hit the latch, and he was free...and another time, he was with another loner
Come on! Hurry! and his experiance had served him well. He found the strange metal piece and had flipped it open.
"Duh.." he muttered under his breath. He looked around stupidly.
"Where is it?" he asked. Wondering why the other wolf hadn't done so before him. He shook his head. Why hadn't he remembered any of his time with the uprights?
Rain looked at the young scarred wolf with raised eyes and then waited expectantly to hear more.
"So we can get out?" she asked, starting to smile.
(Cool! I'm liking him too. XD I also like Rain. I'm planning on having this HUGE backstory in here, like, sombody who knows Saharah and suddenly so many things are connnected. Maybe your wolves too, if you want? Oh, BTW: lol. I drew a pic of when Yeti tells his brother to "Jump in front of one and see" with the "monsters". I actually drew the car pretty well if I do say so myself,. lol. I'll try to send it to you when I can. :))

Frazko savored every moment of the joyful song floating across the forest before finally ending and rubbing against his mate lovingly.

"Just take the knob on the big hunk of shiny rock on the outside of the cage and pull it to the east. Its easy." The battered male made no move to get up and show them how to do it, instead stayed in the corner. (Im purposly making him talk like that with human words. He's...different. I dont really have a plan for him. Just sort of a plan.)

Shenzi licked Frazko's cheek, smiling. She pressed againt him, wishing this moment would never end. (Im contemplating something with Shenzi. I cant decide whether I should do it or not. It might be fun. Or not. Actually, it could be a good twist/complication. hmmm.... At this point with my rambling, you should be able to guess what Im thinking of. Its nothing terrible or really bad that could happen to her. Tell me what you think im talking about :P)

Zoraz said...

(I get what your trying to do. Awesome.)

Rasho followed the instructions and the gate flung open. Rain gave a happy yelp of surpirise and ran out with the others as they made a rush for the door, happily yelping and barking.
"Why didn't you ever teach us that or do it yourself, Drakon?" asked Rain as she cocked her head quizzically. Rasho grinned and turned, cantering over to the other cages and opening them quickly. Soon all the wolves were in a large group, barking and talking quickly while others merely muttered; "Thanks.."

(Hmm, I'm not sure. I'm kinda unfocused, trying not to get cought on the computer. XD XD Lets see. I'll reply to this later, I'll try to get on. 0.0 Wait, I think I can.
Idk..What? TELL ME!!! I dont know your plan. TELLLL MEEEEE!)

Drakon stood up, wincing slightly from his scars. It was ovious none of his wounds had ever had any treatment. He padded stiffly out of the cage, sitting when he arrived at the group. To Rain, he barked, "Ive learned that no matter how much you help others, theres a good chance they'll save themselves and leave you stuck at the first sign of trouble." For a moment, he looked sad, but the look melted back into his rough appearance almost instantly. He turned away from the crowd without a blink.

(Ive pretty much decided against it, butI was thinking maybe she could expect another litter sort of thing,ya know, cause complications and give us something to do, but Reamo thinks that all of her unborn pups have died, and so she's like depressed, which also gives us something to do, but maybe one pup is alive or something. Tell me what you think. idk, could be fun......)

Zoraz said...

The loners gave a nod of thanks before beginning to spread awkwardly away from the area back towards the forest--free!
Rasho nodded at Drakon's words.
"I agree. But not always.." he muttered. He recalled many different times of similar experiances and srhugged it away. Several wolves still stayed near, unsure of what to do, porbably a long ways from home.
"Thank you so much, Rasho," barked Rain as she gave a howl of happyness. Several other wolves joined in the victory howl. When they had quieted Rasho suddenly felt a jolt of anxiety.
"Dreamer!" he gasped suddenly. Rain froze.
"Who? Oh!" she barked as she remembered his explaination earlier. The wolves shrugged. "Not everywolf comes here," they said.

Kiokami said...

Drakon shrugged. "They sometimes take them to the other holding camp. Ill take you there." He felt uncomfortable drawing attention to himself. "They use another kind of latch there. Theres a good chance thay took your mate there too."

Zoraz said...

Rasho felt his face hot and he gave a snarl.
"She's not my mate," he barked hotly. "Just a member of the pack. I dont even like her that much," he broke off, feeling he had said to much.
He's like Shade.. he thought absently as he watched the young scarred wolf.
"Algight- now that we're free, we're also a long way from our homes.." Rain began. The other wolves nodded. Most of the loners had left back to the forest, some others had paired up and left to try and return home most likely, but the rest had stayed- listening to Rasho tell about Mistypack.
"Looks like the rest of us are looking for a pack now." she grinned. "I used to be a loner, so I know how to hunt and fight." she shrugged. "Never been in a pack," she stood up to leave with Rasho. "Lets go! Drakon- you gonna lead us there?" a younger wolf said. It was a black female, the reseblance to Rasho was striking. Her eyes were soft, yet hardened by some unknown past. She had pale green eyes like Rasho and had been watching him but not speaking. Rasho felt a twinge of guilt remembering how he had left his own sister to battle the world alone as a loner when they had split their ways. He wondered if this was her.
Hah! Impossible, he scoffed. Then he took in a deep breath of her scent. She almost smelled familier, but there was no way. His sister, Kasha had been her name, couldn't have survived on her own out there. They had been forced to split up when they were being tracked by a fierce pack out to kill. He had escaped, but she had been hunted down. It was impossible. He shook himself metaly and looked back to Drakon.
"Looks like your the alpha for now," he barked, trying to sound casual and friendly.

Frazko inhaled the soft dusk air and looked at the bright shinning moon. It had been full moon when they left- had they really been gone for a whole moon? He pressed against his mate and then stepped forwards into the moonlight, begining slow and smooth he began a beautiful howl- a love song for his mate. His voice rose and fell, sending his song across the forest, proclaiming his love to his mate...

(cool idea. But maybe wait a little while? Idk. Your call. Nice plot though! I like it! ^_^ Do you like where Im going with Rasho? HA HA! Plots are fun.)

Kiokami said...

"I go alone." Drakon barked, fizing Rasho in has icy glare. He turned, walking into the trees, limping slightly. "This way." He barked to those behind him, not turning back.

(I do like where your going with Rasho. Im going to go ahead and use the Shenzi plot only because we have no otherplats planned except the cougar attack sort of, and im very impatient right now :P)

Shenzi howled along side Frazko, loosing herself in the joy of the call. When the finished, Shenzi licked his cheek. "Frazko...Im expecting another litter!" she breath excitedly, tensing for a moment, fearing his reaction.

(The fact that its so soon could be incorperated quite well into the plot...hmmm)

Zoraz said...

(Awesome epicness. :] )

Rasho knew how Drakon felt. He still often felt the same, but he had become more like one of the pack and not so distant sense the journey. Both he and Shade. He ignored his glare and followed a polite distance away; wondering what the young wolf had been through.

Frazko froze and stiffened. He stood up and backed away slowly.
"You...you are?" he asked, hoping his worst fear wouldnt be coming true. "Th-thats great!" he tried to smile. "That really is,"
(He thinks the father is another wolf if you didnt catch that. XD I know I can be vauge sometimes.)

Kiokami said...

Drakon led without looking back untill they arrived in a clearing with a small human den and a few small cages. He sat down in the shadows. "Are any of these wolves the one youre looking for?" he asked Rasho.

Shenzi lowered her head slightly, here eyes cast downward with dissapointment. She sensed his fear through his discuise. "Frazko...." she murmered. A million thoughts and memories raced through her mind, bu the one that stood out the most was how angry Frazko had been when he found out that Shenzi had a mate before joining the pack. I would be doubtfull too if he had a past mate she told herself. "Frazko...their your pups.... You have to believe me... I would never go off with another wolf...."

Zoraz said...

Frazko instantly turned to her and pressed agianst her.
"Oh, Shenzi...." he whispered. "I'm sorry I even ever started to doubt you. I know you had a past mate, but I know I can trust you. I'm sorry," he smiled at her.
"Wanna try some night hunting," he asked as he stood in the shadows, as if nothing had happened.
"It's so cool your expecting another litter." he murmured.

Rasho shook his head. Many of the wolves crowded over to the side of the cages.
"How did you get out??"
"Can you get us out?"
"We have to get out of here!" panicked and angry barks and snarls erupted from the pen before Rasho finally gave a sudden snarl for silence, his hackles bristling and his fangs bared. Rain looked surpirised and backed off but the small black wolf seemed to not even notice as she stood next to Rasho. She seemed highly interested in him, yet she ignored him, even though she was always next to him.
"Silence!" Rasho bellowed at the cage. The wolves quieted and he turned to Drakon.
"What now," he asked awkwardly. His pelt burned and anger and stubborness bubbled inside of him at practically groveling to the wolf he hardly knew.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi smiled slightly, licking his cheek, but was still dissapointed by his reaction. She made a mental note to talk to Saharah once they got back to the temporairy camp. "I guess theres really no point in trying to learn to hunt again... The pups are due so soon, and after that there will be a few moons before Ill be able to leave the pups..." Shenzi barked, somewhat dejectedly.
(I feel so stupid. I just learned that dogs and wolves are only pregnant like 2 months. I should have known that. That just seems so fast, though.)

Drakon walked to the front of the cage, and standing on his back paws with his front on the cage, pulled a latch and turned a ridge with his teeth until he heard a click. He turned, farther away from the group, the door swinging open behind him.

Zoraz said...

(Lol! Yeah, dogs are in heat or about a month or a little less (3 weeks) and they have stages too. Like, the first week, they refuse any advances until the second week and then the third week...I forget. XD Then they are raising pups and dont come in heat until about 6 months later. I just got a book on coyotes and learned that they are only in heat in I think February alone! Regardless of age. Only february are the males able to mate either because one, thats when they females come in heat, and two, they CANT. They are only able to mate in that month. Weird. It means there isnt as much chance to get a Coydog breed though, luckily. Did I say to much..?)
Frazko sat, shoulders semi forwards before he looked up again, his eyes sparkling.
"Saharah said the pups will be mentored tomorrow morning!" he barked with pride and enthusiasm. He smiled warmly.
"I remember when they were born.." he grinned, looking back on the memory almost wistfully. "They grow so fast.."

The wolves gave yelps and barks of happiness as they swarmed out of the cage. (help me out here!)
Rasho backed up to the side as the wolves swarmed out.
(I need sombody to do something with the rescued wolves!)

(Thats quite a bit of info. Not that im saying its bad that you said so much, im only saying that because I dont think my brain can absord more information after Geometry today.)

Shenzi nodded, Licking his cheek happily and pressing againt him. "They'll enjoy having something to do." She barked. "Has Saharah decided who'll train them?"

Drakon looked to Rasho. "You said you were part of a pack?" He paused for a moment. "I'd ke to see how your pack life works."

(We cant do much until Dreamer does something....)

Zoraz said...

(Lol! I like Geometry..
Btw- Who do you want to do Shenzi's pups?)
Frazko nodded.
"She said she did, but she didnt tell me."

Rasho hid his surprise well by looking casual.
"Okay," he answered. "I used to be a loner like you," he added. "But then, I ended up in a pack." he didnt bother to add he was practically hiding from Talho pack. He felt his pelt grow hot as he realized he had been a total coward...
(Yeah................)

Kiokami said...

(umm.....idk....)

Shenzi nodded, smiling. She rubs against Frazko for a moment before looking at the sky. "Saharah and Yeti will be woondering where we are." She barked sadley.

Drakon thought for a moment. "Idntroduce me to your pack." he barked. "I have no where else to go." Drakon regretted letting that slip.

(I'll rp a trapped wolf)

Kouja had been watching Rain talk to the stranger, Rasho. Now he was studying the cages, trying to figure how to open them. Kouja stood and shook his gray fur, cramped from being in such a small space.
"Rasho." The name rumbled in his throat. "Look at the contraption at the side of the cage. The uprights meddle with it to open them somehow. But their paws are far different than ours, so it makes it easier for them."

Zoraz said...

(Ahem....um, Sky? DId you read the thing...? The trapped wolves have escaped..............)

Frazko nodded and stood up.
"Lets get back and geta good night sleep so we are wide awake when our pups are mentored tomorrow," he laughed as they walked.

Rasho nodded.
"Lets get back. All those that want to try out Mistypack," he abrked.

Kiokami said...

(Yeah, Sky, Drakon and Rasho already took care of that....)

Shenzi nodded agreeingly, laughing slightly. "Lets go." She smiled, and turned towreds camp. When they arrived back at the gathering spot, Shenzzi barked, "Im going to go talk to Saharah." She trotted over the the alpha, suddenly nervous. "Saharah...?"

Drakon nodded slightly, waiting to go.

Zoraz said...

Frazko nodded and nuzzled his mate with a murmur of; "I'll be in our makshift den." as she trotted off and he went and lay down.
Saharah turned from getting the pups in a small dip in the ground and smiled at her friend.
"Yes? Oh, I decided to put all of the pups together. They may chatter a bit but I'm getting a hunch Kagu (Thats the one I play, right?) was getting a bit scared of the dark." she gave a laugh as she stood up and rubbed against her friend.
"We havent had much time together to talk," she murmured. "Whats up?"

Rasho nodded and hesitated, wondering where Dreamer HAD been taken before heading back. The young black wolf on one side of his flank, Rain on the other, and a few others behind him, encluding Drakon.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi smiled laughingly, wondering what do say. After a moment, she barked, "Saharah....Im going to have another litter." She tensed, half expecting her to be angry.

Drakon padded behind Rasho expressionlessly, prefering to be a bit behind the rest of the group in the shadows.

Zoraz said...

Saharah instead looked surpised and congratulated her friend.
"Wow! Thats so cool, Shenzi! I'm so happy for you. And I dont know if Frazko already spoke with you, but I'm mentoring the pups tomorrow morning!" she barked with hushed tones so she wouldnt wake up the sleeping pack members.

Rasho finally reached the edge of the makeshift camp.
"Here we are," he muttered. Rain scanned the pack, quickly comiting fur and scents to memory as fast as she could; her ears pricked in concentration and her eyes darting back and forth. The small black wolf calmly observed the pack members and then began to quietly walk to the edge and sat down without a word.
Rasho looked around for Saharah and spotted Shade in the shadows, head down as if asleep but watching intently. He raised his head casually and met Rasho's eyes with a look of interest before giving a nod towards Saharah and Shenzi.
(Okay, my plans here are to now figure out what new wolves your bringing into the pack. Name them and so and so. Several wolves are with them, so make however many you want.)

Kiokami said...

Shenzi smiled. Who's going to train them?" Shenzi asked.

(ummm....uh....Im going to make....3 I guess....theres no harm in making more than you think you need.)

Drakon looked around the pack, his icy eyes scanning every pelt for hostility. He looked at Shade with contempt.

A young tan female named Melody watched the pack wiht intrest and excitment.

Loner, a red male, and Talon, a black female both looked nervous, but stood at the front of the group.

Yeti stirred, hearing the commotion. He stood up and padded over to Rasho's group with a limp. He held his tail and head high. "Rasho, who are these wolves?" His voice held a warning edge.

(Yes, she is.)

Clover stepped back, wondering how this forest wolf could break through. She didn't know what it was like to be free, she had only heard story. She had been born in this place. But none of her family survived her birth, and she never had a father, so she was alone.

Dreamer pawed at the metal webbing that trapped her."Hello?" She howled.

Zoraz said...

Shade silently rose to his paws, his hackles slightly raised as he returned Drakon's stare.

Saharah grinned.
"It's a surprise!" she laughed as she gave her friend a playful nudge. She turned at the sound of Rasho entering the camp and frowned.
"What...?" she muttered as she turned and trotted over. She held a paw in front of Yeti as she eyed her mate.
"Let them stay," she muttered in his ear after she heard Rasho's story. "At least for the night." she turned back and addressed the wolves.
"Welcome to Mistypack. We are traveling to a new territory as you have heard," she barked. "Make yourselves comfortable. We will discuss this tomorrow." she said with a firm tone as she gestured towards a empty area and padded away to Yeti's and her den.

The young black female wolf and Rain padded to a area of the makshift camp and lay down. They seemed to know each other.

Suddenly a wolf answered Dreamer.
"Your in a upright den." a wolf said. It was a male and sounded casual, as if he practically lived with uprights. If Dreamer's eyes were adjusted to the darkness, she could see that it was a young male, lying cooly in the side of the enclosure.
"They'll let us go eventually." he barked as he sat up.
"They shot you with the stinging feather-" he noted as he saw a small amount of blood on her fur. He cocked his head.
"Normally they just...huh. Nevermind." he gave a cheerful grin. "My name's Ash. Whats yours?"
(HA HAAA! I've been DYING to use that name!!)

Kiokami said...

Drakon turned, with one last glare at Shade, and followed the other recruited wolves. He setteled down as far away from the others as he could, his scarred back to the camp, and listened.

Shenzi smiled slightly then ducked into her and Frazko's den, laying down next to her mate.

Yeti said nothing, but leaped up the side of a fallen tree and layed down on top of it, keeping a silent watch.

Zoraz said...

Shade ignored him, knowing how hostile he had first been and even still was, he gave him some room to breathe.

Frazko grinned at his mate.
"Newcomers, huh?" he smiled. "We can always use new recrutes."

Saharah followed Yeti and pushed her nose into his fur.
"What do you think," she asked, looking towards the newcomers.

The young black female wolf walked across the clearing to her own area and lay down, watching everything.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi nodded and shrugged, pressing against him slightly. "I hope we find a new territory soon.." Shenzi thought out loud. "I dont want the pups to have to travel right after their born..."

"Our pack is big as is, and we cant afford to have wolves that dont quite know where their loyalties lay." Yeti looked over at the nowcomers. "At least we have no queens as of tommarrow. Thats one less thing we need to worry about, and one less thing we need to worry about newcomers getting to close to."

Drakon lay his head down, wondering if he could ever get used to living in a group.

Zoraz said...

Frazko nodded and curled up, falling into a deep sleep.

Saharah shrugged. She ahd gotten used to Yeti being irritated and on edge sense they had begun to move and this was no different. She turned, murmuring that she was going to their area of the camp to sleep.
