Story So Far (SSF):

When complications hit Mistypack, Saharah (the alpha) decided to take instant action against the invading uprights, shortage of food and overall bad territory. They then put some distance between that territory (around 200 miles worth) even with the new pups of the alphas and betas. Long story short, an enemy wolf was recruited, then turned against them and became alpha by force. Terror and bad times followed his reign and a battle is currently raging.

Kuni and Kari's story can be followed at the Fresh Kill link below the chat box on the right sidebar.

An uprising started by Sako surged through the pack and they revolted against the guards. The battle is raging and wolves from both sides are falling. Who will triumph? Add your attacks to the battle by commenting in the newest post!

Changes

Karuso glared at the wolves below him. After they had buried Reamo in the freezing snow they had gathered in groups, hardly talking about Kari's exile anymore, but now just shivering and trying to keep warm.
"Blaze," he called. Several wolves glanced up as Blaze came forward.
"Yes, Alpha?" he looked at the alpha through his one eye and bowed low before him, also dipping his head at Oki.
"Send out a patrol to catch more food." he said.
(Oki-- Email me)

Rain shivered, staggering over to Yeti.
"Do we even have a plan?" she whispered shakily.

Sako ran through the snow drifts in leaps and bounds, the whiteness swirled all around him and flew up in a cloud as he kicked it up with his paws. He could smell blood. Mistypack blood....

Kari curled up inside the stone cave where she and Kuni had almost run into earlier. It was lined with rabbitfur, probably a fox's denning area once before.
"Kuni......I'm glad you're with me...."

Blaze trotted up to Shur`tugal.
"Hey, lets go hunting!" he said, grinning.

"No..." Yeti barked dejectly, shivering.

Kuni curled up as well, his pelt brushing hers slightly. "I'm glad to be here." He barked quietly.

Zoraz said...

Rain hesitated, unsure of what to do next and then turned and left.

Kari felt herself nuzzle him, though it seemed as though she were a million miles away.

Delta sat huddled under a bush, sniffing for the scent of his sister and the wolf following her.
He finally spotted them curled up under the rock and felt his very blood boil. He growled and paced a distance away, just waiting for Kuni to show himself.

Aleta said...

Sure, at least it'll warm us up! Where to? Please don't be near the cave
(Hint: the cave involves Shur`tugal's version of rebellion. Key words: Match of power)

Yeti sighed, lowing his head. He felt as if he was abandoning his pack, doing nothing even in a time of need.

Kuni nuzzled her slightly before spotting a flash of black fur. "Something out there..." he barked quietly, standing. "Ill go see what it is." Peered out the entrance before sniffing the trail. "Delta?" he barked softly.

Zoraz said...

Blaze grinned, his one eye slightly narrowed.
"Lets head towards the river..."

Saharah nuzzled Yeti (Ahh that phrase is so darn boring...).
"Come on, let's go into the den." she murmured.

Kari cocked her head ans scented the air.
"Why would he be here...?" she asked quietly, peering out into the darkening snowstorm.

Delta felt his fur rising on his back and he crouched, waiting for the moment. He needed him where Kari wouldn't see him, which was easy in this weather.
a little closer....just a little more...

Aleta said...

Ok Phew! We should get going then!

Zoraz said...

Blaze nodded and trotted off through the snow, breaking into a run as he got to the trees.
"Race you" he called over his shoulder, tearing off and kicking up snow behind him.

Aleta said...

*smiles* big mistake *takes off running towards the river*

Zoraz said...

Blaze panted as Shur`tugal flew past him, practically flying in his eyes.
"Hah! I'm still *pant* gonna beat you!" he hollered, pelting across the forest. The snow blew into his eyes and he blinked and shook his head to clear the snow but it still swirled down around him.

Aleta said...

The snow stung as it flew into her face, she was barley panting as she focused on keeping her breath steady in order to maintain stamina. "Then your going to have to *deep breath* hurry up!" she yelled back.

Kiokami said...

Yeti nodded sadley, moving towred the den but looking back out at the desolate camp. Eventually he turned and settled into the den.

"Just stay where its warmer." Kuni barked to Kari as he padded further out into the snow. "Delta?" he called softly, unable to see him in the thick snow.

Zoraz said...

Blaze laughed and narrowed his eyes, pelting forward and closing in beside her.

(OMG WE NEED SOME ACTION HERE, PEOPLE!!)
Delta glowered at Kuni and as soon as he had taken a few steps into the snow, Delta leapt forward and slammed into Kuni, flipping him on his back and standing on his chest.
"What are you doing here with Kari!" he hissed, white clouds billowing around his mouth as he lifted his lips in a snarl.
(omg, this blog is gonna go innactive if sombody doesn't do something...plz do something.)

Kiokami said...

(Do something- challenge accepted.)

"I'm just trying to help her!" Kuni barked, his voice rising. He struggled a bit but couldn't escape.

Kamodo padded though the forest with (insterst names of random wolves here), searching for prey. With a yelp, Kamodo tripped over a hard object. When he pulled himself up, he realized that it was a body. It was a tribe guard, obviously pregnant, very scuffed up and seemed to be killed within the past few hours.

(Anyone can play a part in this scene! Just don't alter how it's going too much, as I have a plan.)

Oki was chewing on an elk bone when he got an idea. He strode up to where Frazko and Shenzi were, and spoke one word. "Bow." he commanded.

Zoraz said...

(Ha haaah! That's what I'm talkin' about!)

Delta snarled at him.
"What are your intentions?"

Flare gasped, her eyes frozen on the body, sticking out from the white snow.
"What....what..." her voice was choked and she couldn't finish her sentance.

Frazko gave his son a disgusted and menacing look.
"You are a fool, Oki." he growled.

Kiokami said...

"You are a fool to talk back to me!" Oki snarled angrily. "BOW!"

Kuni raised his head slightly. "To keep her and any other wolves exiled from Mistypack alive."

"A guard..." Kamodo barked, in a trance. He sniffed the body hesitantly. "Theres a faint scent of Mistypack blood on her...but who could kill a gaurd?"

Aleta said...

(Zoraz where is the whole hunting thing going) *notices blaze catching up and puts on a burst of speed only to just about fall into the river* wow , that didn't take long...

zoraz/Saharah/Owner said...

Frazko stood, his hackles raised as his mere body dwarfed Oki.
"You are no son of mine." he growled. His eyes had gone an icy cold and he glowered down at Oki.
"You are now dead to me." (Shenzi's reaction?)

Flare felt fear creep across her body.
"I-I don't know....What about Oki.....Kari was exiled what if she-" she felt hot embarasment for even insinuating the idea that her packmate had betrayed them.
(I want some rebels! Join the other side! Blaze has. XD)

(I have NO clue, Shur`tugal. Well, I have some. He's gonna tell her something.)
Blaze laughed.
"You win!" he smiled. He gazed at her for a moment.
"Karuso wanted me to ask you....who's side are you on?" he asked after a moment of hesitation.

Kari curled up closer to herself and pricked her ears for any sound.

Delta growled at his packmate.
"I bet!" he scoffed.

Aleta said...

Well you can tell him I'm a rebel and nothing- not even exile or death- will stop me from being one! Now to the part you can't tell him... that cave is where I've being training for a while. I'm determined to get as powerful as they are, but not as evil... Now I have a question for YOU... which side are YOU on?
(Intersting, i like where its going here XD)

(sorry haven't been able to get on for long enough)

Hikari shook her fur out, her body almost numb from the cold. She stretched and yawned, blinking out the sleepiness from her eyes. Her stomach rumbled from hunger, but she ignored it due to the sudden sick feeling that attacked her without warning. "Great, this is just what I need." She growled to herself. Looking around the camp, Hikari noticed the difference in the atmosphere. It felt foreign, like she'd never been there before. She gave a sigh before her attention was taken away by Oki, Frazko, and Shenzi.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi narrows her eyes. "I wish you had been thrown over the cliffs with your siblings! You dont deserve to be alive." Her voice was filled with malice.

"Why..? Why would anyone kill an expecting mother, even if she is a guard...?" Kamodo wondered out loud. "Whoever it was even ripped the feathers from their fur and scattered them around the clearing..." He stopped for a moment, thinking. "Whoever it was, it would have to be a strong fighter... Male, proboly, I dont think females would kill a mother..." He looked to Flare for her opinion. (Do you want me to tell youwho it was in an email?)

"Well, what else would I do? You can ask her if you need to!" Kuni snarled, his annoyance tipping into anger and frustration. "KARI!" He called.

Azure Paintings said...

I'm not sure what's happening, but this can't be too good...Hikari thought to herself. She clenched her teeth. If worst came to worst, she'd get involved, but for the time being she hoped nothing would happen.

Zoraz said...

(@Aleta- Ikr!)
(@Shenzi---Yes! Tell me!!)

Frazko snarled at Oki.
"Leave this place if you know what's good for your health." he almost whispered, his hackles raised fully and his posture threatening.

Flare nodded.
"A female wouldn't....unless that's what they want you to think--that they wouldn't...I don't know." her voice trembled and she looked scared as she glanced around.

Kari lifted her head sharply. Did she hear something? No. She must have been dreaming. Hey, where is Kuni? Oh...outside...was he calling?.....She set her head down, suddenly exausted. She was imagining things. Was Kuni even with her? Was she imagining this whole thing? She shoved he rnose backinto her fur and shut her eyes, hiding herself from the world.

Delta waited for a moment before stepping off of Kuni. He gave him a sharp look.
"Kari's my sister. Be sure where you set your paws, Kuni." he said, his eyes boring into Kuni's.
"I don't want her hurt..." he said, his voice coming out almost in a whisper.

(HOOVERDAM I LOVE HIKARI!)

Kiokami said...

Oki stood up straight, not fazed. "Leave my pack? I dont think Karuso would agree with that idea."

Kamodo shook his head, confused. "Lets take the body back to camp." He barked eventually. He carefull wrapped his jaws around the scruff of the female's neck, picking head a foot off the ground. Suddenly, he scented something he hadnt before. The body fell to the ground as he jumped back in shock, his eyes wide. "Two wolves...Oki...Oki..and..." He couldnt finish the sentance.

Kuni slowly got to his feet. "Do you think fora second that I would hurt her?" He barked, somewhat softly. He turned away, not waiting for an answer. "Im assuming you plan to see her as well?" He barked, ducking inside their make-shift den.

Zoraz/Owner/Saharah said...

Frazko glared at him, his fangs showing and a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"I did not ask if he would agree." he took one step forward.
"You are a fool to stand against me, Oki. Leave."

"Oki!" Flare sniffed the body, rigid. "Don't touch the body again!" she hissed. "You could easily be blamed!!" she sniffed again, her eyes wide.
"Oki.....he is murderous for power. He is also a fool. I can't make out the second scent--can you?" she was able to steady her voice and talk senseably now.

Delta shook his head dumbly, his anger subsided and a strange emotion welling up inside of him.
"No," he murmured. "Don't tell her I was here," he turned away, his head low and then leapt away, towards the trees.
(He can follow if he wants. Idc)
Kari was asleep. Her paws jerked every once in a while, her dreams were d=troubled. Dry blood was still on her lips and it entered her nose, filling her dreams with murder and horror.....

"Karuso!" Oki called. "Frazko is threataning me and I think he needs convincing that that is a bad idea."

Kamodo countinued to back up slowly. "Well...yes....I can..." He swallowed. "We cant tell anyone...it could cause civil war..." He stopped, looking up. "Yeti. Yeti helped Oki kill this wolf..."

Azure Paintings said...

"Oki!"Hikari strode a few feet forward to face the younger wolf and snarled."What is this? If you cannot solve a problem yourself, you have no right to call out others for your bidding! Right now, it seems as if you rely more on others than on yourself!" The white wolf stood tall, still numb from cold yet glaring into Oki's eyes.

Zoraz said...

Frazko glanced around for the new alpha but he was nowhere to be seen. Frazko felt a small smirk come over his face, along with hatred and cold unfeeling eyes. Hikari came into the den and he glared at the reddish wolf, feeling triumph as Hikari spoke. When she had finished he gave the pup a look, gesturing at the outer den area.
"He's not here to fight your fights, Oki. Get over yourself."
(Mwahahahaa!)

Flare felt as if time had frozen.
"No. He wouldn't do that...no! That can't be right." but when she sniffed the body again she could tell now that it was the white wolf's scent on her body.
"How do you know he killed her? It could've been like us, just being here and....." her voice trailed off. She knew her defense was useless. It was fairly obvious what had happened.
"And it looks like white fur is in this bush." she said lamely, her ears back slightly.

Oki leapt foreward, slashing Frazko across the nose and leaping back before he couls react. He narrowed his eyes. "You just wait. One day, when Im alpha, Ill have my guards kill every single traitor to my rule starved to death then killed in the most brutal way possible. And if your not killed before Im alpha, Ill torture you to serve as a message to others. You just wait." He turned, stalking into his den without a second glance."

"And the scents of Oki and Yeti leave together." Kamodo barked, turning. "Come on. Lets go talk to him about this before we tell anyone else. He'll have something to say about this Im sure."

Zoraz said...

Frazko snarled at the reddish pup as he left.
"You will realize your mistakes later in life, Oki!" he called sharply, his eyes narrowed. "If you life that long!"

Flare hung her head as she walked.
What else was the pack hiding? Why couldn't things just be normal!?

Kiokami said...

Oki didnt say anything, just walked away.

Kamodo scented, stalking into the clearing in the woods where the white wolf was stalking a rabbit. "Yeti." He barked calmly.

Yeti turned abrubtly. "Yeah?"

"Whats going on? We want to know. We found the body. We want an explaination." He barked calmly.

Zoraz said...

Saharah's head lifted, as if in a dream she heard Kamodo question her mate. She stood beside him.
"Yeti...what is he talking about.." she murmured.

Kiokami said...

"I dont know." Yeti barked, feigning a confused look.

Kamodo lowered his head. "We found a body of a pregnant female guard with his and Oki's scents on it. They oviously worked together to kill the guard."

Zoraz said...

Saharah felt a cold paw grip her heart.
"Yeti.." she whispered.
Flare was hanging her head. The whole pack was falling apart...
"Yeti, who are you.." she murmured.

Kiokami said...

"What? Your supposed to listen to you alpha. Their word is law and should be respected." Yeti barked somewhat indignantly.

"So you went to the other side." Kamodo nearly snarled. "You betrayed your pack."

Zoraz said...

Flare shrank back beside Kamodo, her eyes wide and fearful.
"You did then.?" she whispered.

Saharah stepped back near Kamodo.
"Yeti...." she said again. "Did you....."

Kiokami said...

"Yes. I did." Yeti barked tensly, angry. "You made your choices, let me make mine."

"Traitor!" Kamodo snarled.

Zoraz said...

Saharah stood up fully.
"Yeti..." still no words would come. She stared at her mate as if he were a stranger. A hostile packwolf. An enemy!

Flare turned, running for the snowy forest as fast as she could.

Kiokami said...

Kamodo turned, walking into the forest.

"Saharah...your making a mistake! They'll kill you for just being the old alpha...Please... If you promise to stay loyal, they wont..." Yeti pleaded as soon as they left.

Zoraz said...

Saharah looked at him, her eyes narrowed in disbelief.
"What are you talking about, Yeti...you killed another. What do you have to say about that." she murmured.

Kiokami said...

"It was worth it if it means possibly saving you, Saharah." Yeti barked.

Zoraz said...

Saharah turned her face away.
"What do you mean," she said with a hint of a growl.
"Yeti! You killed a *pregnant* female wolf!" she burst out, turning back to face him. She stared into his eyes pleadingly, hoping there had somehow been a mistake...and that this wasn't his fault.

Kiokami said...

"Oki said it was the only way he would trust me!" Yeti barked. "I had to! Please understand Saharah..."

Zoraz said...

Saharah stared at him incredulously.
"Because that-that runt told you too you did?!" she spat. She turned, furously and stalked out of the den.

Kiokami said...

Yeti ran out after her. "Saharah, please!!!"

Zoraz said...

Saharah turned, her eyes showing no mercy.
"Yeti. You killed a wolf! How are you justified??" she turned her head away a little, eyes shut.

Kiokami said...

"Saharah..." Yeti whimpered. "Everything Im doing, Im doing for you. For the pack..."

Zoraz said...

Saharah looked back at him coldly.
"You killed a wolf for me? Thanks, but I've had better romancers." she said, almost laughing.

Kiokami said...

"Yeah. Go back to Ash or whoever. See how long it takes until Karuso and Oki kill you." Yeti barked, turning away.
(I think his name was Ash...)

Zoraz said...

(Yes, Ash.)
"What's that supposed to mean!" shouted Saharah, leaping in front of him and boring her bright green eyes into his.

Kiokami said...

"Im sure Ash would be just as willing to do anything for you." Yeti barked, no emotion in his voice.

Zoraz said...

Saharah gave him a look of disgust.
"Yeah, sure!" she glared at him and then raised her voice to a bellow- "AT LEAST HE DIDN'T KILL SOMBODY TO PROVE HIS LOVE!"

Kiokami said...

"To prove my love? Im trying to save your life!!!" Yeti turned away.

Zoraz said...

Saharah felt a numb sensation filling her.
"You love me don't you..." she whispered.

Kiokami said...

"You doubted as much?" Yeti barked quietly, not turning around.

Zoraz said...

Saharah felt frozen, her heart in her mouth.
"Maybe..." she hesitated.
"It seems like at the slightest obstical you give up or guilt trip...."

Kiokami said...

"Thats just who I am. I cant help it. Im not strong enough to deal with it." Yeti barked, the cold feel entering his voice again.

Zoraz said...

Saharah tried to run towards him, to hug him. She wanted to say she dind't care, she loved him for who he was--.....but she couldn't. How could she lie to her own mate.
(Oh, cows...)

Kiokami said...

"You know, this just isnt going to work. I dont know how we stayed together this long without tearing you apart. Im just not right for any wolf. Find someone better. Dont bother with me." Yeti barked slowly, his voice hard and cold. He refused to look bacck at her.

Zoraz said...

(ohhh boy.)
Saharah still didn't say anything. What was there to say? But a cold hard point came back to her.
"Proves my point." she called.

Kiokami said...

"Your right, Saharah. Your always right. And Im not going to make you suffer anymore. You dant ahve to worry about me hurting you again."

Zoraz said...

Saharah stayed standing still. She felt like something still needed to be said but she couldn't think what until she saw the slight red bit of blood on the white wolf's fur and she remember her daughter. Their daughter. Her murder. Her anvengefull murder. (Avengefull?) and then...her exile.
"What about the pups." she said hoarsly.

Zoraz said...

Kiokami said...

"They deserved better than me. I was a terriable father." Yeti sighed.

Zoraz said...

Are... Saharah thought privately, changeing the past-tense.
"You can't just abondon them!" she said sharply.

Kiokami said...

"I abandoned them the second I saw them. One of my biggest regrets..." Yeti trailed off before relizing something.
"Your agreeing that Im not worth it, yet at the same time your trying to convince me to stay. I just dont get you sometimes."

Zoraz said...

Saharah felt her heart pounding and still no words come.
"How could you forget..." she whispered. THoughts whirled in her mind. Yeti, bleeding on the rocks...herself leaning near to him, begging.......

She returned to Yeti's side, sobbing at the thought of him dying.
"Yeti.........don't die....!" she whispered. "Pease, don't die......."
Yeti regained some concoisness, and looked up at Saharah. "Saharah......be....my......mate......please....."
Tears streamed down Saharah's face.
"Yes, Yeti. Yes." she sobbed.

Kiokami said...

"Saharah, I'm leaving you for your own good. You have proven to me that I have problems, I AM a problem, more than any wolf should have to deal with. I'll stop getting in your way. Forever." Yeti didn't glance back as he spoke, refusing to look at Saharah. Ever again.

Zoraz said...

(Email me the plan asap!)

(woaaahh drama!Poor Yeti&Saharah!)

Hikari turned to Shenzi and Frazko with concern in her eyes. "Will you guys be okay? I wasn't sure if I should have interfered or not..."The white wolf trailed off, unsure of what to say.

Kiokami said...

"No, it was fine you interfered. And we'll be okay. Thanks, Hikari." Shenzi barked quietly, managing a small smile, but her eyes were teary.

Azure Paintings said...

The white wolf stepped forward and gave Shezi an tender, motherly nuzzle with her head. "I wish there was more I could do." Hikari said quietly. She knew that it would be in vein to try soothing Shenzi, but if she could offer any support, there was no doubt in Hikari's mind that she'd do anything.

Zoraz said...

Frazko glared furiously after Oki, his eyes narrowed almost to slits and his hackles raised.

Saharah stared after Yeti for a moment before narrowing her eyes.
"Fine! Give up easily! You never cared for anybody but yourself. You always blame your actions on your stupid past! Why don't you get up and change instead of always sounding like a crying, whimpering pup!" she snarled after him. She turned on heel sharply and started to stalk off, fury burning inside of her more than hurt.

Kiokami said...

"Thank you Hikari. It means alot..." Shenzi murmered softly before pricking her ears up and turning away at hearing Saharah's outburst. "I should go find out what thats about..." She gave Hikari one last thankful look before padding carefully to where she scent Saharah.

Yeti didnt react, but the words echoed inside his head. Without thinking he ran, his paws pounding on the forest floor. Before he knew where his paws were taking him, he was at the cliff, and he leapt off without a seconds hesitation.
(Im think for our 'plan' she finds him battered, just barley alive a little ways down river.)

Shenzi approached Saharah hesitantly. "Saharah..? Are you okay???"

Zoraz said...

Frazko watched his mate go out into the cold but said nothing.

(WTH!!!! YETI????!!!! Lol, like when Saharah flung herself off that cliff into the river. lol)

Saharah turned sharply.
"I'm fine!" she snarled.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi stepped back slightly, just barely noticable. Immeadiatly, she could peice together exactly what happened. "Do you want to talk about it?" SHe asked quietly.

Zoraz said...

Saharah stayed silent, her eyes narrowed at the direction Yeti had taken.
"Ughh!" she gave afrustrated groan and turned away slightly, her head hanging. She then told Shenzi all that had taken place up till when she had replied and stalked away.

Zoraz said...

By the time she had finished tears were streaked down her face and she was looking at her friend almost pleadingly.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi was silent a second before answering. "First, I think we should go somewhere else, get away from this place." Slowly, she started leading Saharah towreds the river. She spoke as they walked, choosing her words carefully. "Well, I cant say Ive ever understood Yeti or his motives, but he sounds convinced of his own worthlessness. Its hard to love when you dont love yourself, and I think thats why he's having problems now." She knew her words sounded dumb, but she couldnt think of anything better to say.

Wind whistled in Yeti's ears. He seemed to fall forever, the sounds defening him. All at once, he his the water, and the force of a thousand fallling trees seemed to his Yeti all at once. He sank under the surface, jusr barely consious and aware of the pain. He knew that if he tried hard enough, he could make it to the surface, but instead he let himself sink into the depths.

Zoraz said...

(nice writing on Yeti's misery. lol)

Saharah nodded dumbly.
"Yes, I know..." she murmured. "It's still hard..!" her voice broke and she pressed against Shenzi.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi nuzzled her. "Give it time..." She trailed off. They approached the river, and she spotted something on the edge of a curve in the river.

Zoraz said...

Saharah nuzzled her friend.
"Thanks, Shenzi. You don't know what it means to have sombody like you as a friend," she murmured. She glanced up, following Shenzi's gaze.
(You know wolves are the only canines (I believe) that can actually follow a human's gaze? They say not to look towards the chicken house if a wolf is watching you. lol)

Kiokami said...

Shenzi tried to murmer a your welcome, but instead stared in shock. A white body, washed up on shore, broken, barely breathing. "Its...Yeti..."

Zoraz said...

(AGGHHHHHH! Omg I thought u were about to say dead.)

Saharah held in a gasp. The anger flooded back held back only by the reason that he wasn't hardly breathing.
"What did he do..." she asked softly.

Kiokami said...

"He must have jumped the cliff..." Shenzi barked quietly.

Zoraz said...

Saharah turnedher face away.
"What, to prove his love?" she snorted. But her inner feelings were changing slightly.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi turned to her, her head cocked in question. "He's over there dying, and your joking about it? You stay here, Ill go get someone." Shenzi turned, racing into the trees.

Yeti lay unconcious, knowing nothing of anything around him.

Saharah looked down at the white wolf, blood now all over him.
"Oh, Yeti...why do we have to fight about it..." she whispered. She licked his cheek softly.

Kiokami said...

Yeti stirred slightly at her touch. "Kazrah...." he murmered, just barely audible.

Zoraz/Owner/Saharah said...

Saharah felt her eyes narrowing.
"It's me- Saharah." she said, keeping her voice soft. She nudged his neck slightly.

Saharah felt her eyes narrowing.

Kiokami said...

Her nudge woke Yeti just enough for him to understand whats going on. "Saharah?" His voice was quiet and hoarse. "What....why?" He couldnt seem to manage to say anything else.

(Hmmm, a fierce wolf who likes to argue. I can't wait to see what that brings!>=D)

Endure rose from her sitting position. The snow had stopped falling a while ago but she couldn't help but wish it was stilling coming down. It was almost like being in a dream. Each flake was mesmerizing to her eyes. Too bad...It wasn't a surprise wolves would call her Snowfall; as if her obsession with it wasn't enough, she was also burdend by he speckled white on her gray fur. The thought was irritating, but she was used to it.

Hikari watched Shenzi leave, but couldn't help but notice Frazko still omitting an angry aura. Oki must've snapped a nerve, from what she could tell. "It's best you remain calm around him. No good will come out of harboring a killing intent every time you see him." Hikari advised him.

(Goodies! I've been wanting another wolf, but didn't want to add another profile^^It'll be fun to play around with Endure, I've been itching for a differnent persoonality!)

Kiokami said...

Drakon approached Endure cautiously. "Karuso said some wolves need to hunt." He barked plainly, no emotion in his voice.

Azure Paintings said...

Endure turned and gave Drakon a daring stare. "And who put that atrocity in charge?"She growled.

Kiokami said...

"Well, we all know his precious guard wont hunt, so its up to the rest of us to feed both them and us." Drakon barked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Azure Paintings said...

The gray female gave a sarcastic laugh. "I wonder if they can even hunt? I'm in no mood to feed those pathetic exuses for wolves."

Kiokami said...

"I doubt it. They fight, eat, and laze around camp. Thats all their good for. Well, acctually their not good for anything." Drakon barked, turning. "Come on."

Azure Paintings said...

Although frustrated at Drakon's obvious order, she felt as though she shouldn't blame him. Her real anger came out of having to deal with the random triabl pack that appeared out of nowhere and clamined them as part of their pack. "I'm coming,"she sighed,"I just want to get it over with."

Kiokami said...

Drakon nodded agreeingly. "Its torture. They seem to think their the greating things in the world just because they can fight." He sighed slightly. "This has to end eventually..."

Azure Paintings said...

"You're right."Endure replied bluntly."If it doesn't end soon, I'm leaving. Heck, I think it'd be better if we all just left the territory than have to deal with these freeloaders!" Of course, what she said was mainly a bluff, but she couldn't help but get irritated at the thought of her life being used as another's tool. The very thought had made her moody and extremely hard to talk with.

Kiokami said...

Drakon cocked his head slightly. "Ive thought of doing that exact thing. We're not servants. We deserve a life of our own."

Zoraz said...

Frazko looked at her.
"He's nobody I have any respect for anymore." he said in a growl. "He needs to grow up and live in the real world instead of pretending like he's so much! But I'm sure you're right. I'll try to 'contain' myself." He smiled at her.

Zoraz said...

Saharah bent down to Yeti.
"You fell off the cliff," she murmured. "Hold still- you'll hurt yourself more by moving." "And don't talk. I don't wanna hear it," She was close to adding aloud.

Kiokami said...

"Leave..." Yeti barked weakly. "Let....me....die......."

Zoraz/Owner/Saharah said...

Saharah ignored him and hauled him to shore on the soft grass.
"More than I owe you.." she murmured softly, licking his cheek again. She could hear help coming and she turned, running towards the treeline where she would be hidden.

Blaze cocked his head at Shur`tugal.
"Karuso has good points," he growled sharply. "If the weak are weeded out then the pack will stay strong. Order cannot be maintained by soft hearted wolves like..like Kazrah for instance!" he finished triumphantly, looking at her through his one eye.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi ran to where Yeti lay with Frazko and Sky, who had learned some healing from his father but still didnt want to become a healer. She raised her head, looking around. "Saharah must have left...but she did move him." She barked softly. She had already explained what happened to Frazko but not Sky.
Sky padded foreward hesitantly. It was obvious he was unsure of what to do.

(If you want to add another wolf or change from Frazko, feel free to so so.)

Aleta said...

Shur`tugal glared back with an ice cold glare. "I understand everyone has good points, but it is how they use them that determines whether they are evil or good, not how many good points they have. For instance, Karuso is a fantastic fighter, but he uses his skills to hurt not to help. And as for Kazrah, well I don't know much about her but I do know she is far stronger than you will ever be (I don't know much about Kazrah...)," growled Shur`tugal with as much coldness as her glare. "Now if you want to hunt for that mangy fleapelt then you can hunt for him by yourself." Shur`tugal started walking away gracefully but with clear anger. Don't stop me, don't even look at me. If I have to turn around I'm gonna claw his snout off Shur`tugal thought angrily
(sometimes i think she is no worse than Karuso XD. If she were human people would think we had the same personality because I basically described myself minus the "pretty" part XD)

Zoraz said...

(No, it's fine.)

Frazko sniffed Yeti hesitantly.
"He almost seems to hurt himself on purpose. Some wolves will do anything to get out of a little work," he joked for the sake of his son.
"Now look here- you can feel gently for broken bones. Gently! There- see? The leg is straight- no broken bones. Do you think there may be a sprain? Check it out."
(we need to apoint a new healer.)

Zoraz said...

(lol. Most girls say they aren't pretty. I'm sure you are- you just think you aren't.)

Blaze glared after her
"Wait!"

Kiokami said...

(Im thinking abouot making Sky one.)

Sky nodded carefully. "I think there is by the swelling of the leg." He countinued to ispect him. "I think theres a break in the shoulder, but its too hard to tell- he must have landed on it."

Zoraz said...

(I noticed. Nice. Oh...Karuso's Alpha. Hee hee! He'll have something to say about that. Like, apoint him when he;s not ready. OMIGOSH ORRR choose somebody else when SKy REALLY wants to be one! *gasp* and he all chooses Rawen. NICE)

Frazko nodded, pride showing in his face.
"Now what will you give him for pain? SOme would give nothing so the wolf can tell them if it is healing, other would use Poppy seeds. What have I taught you about another healing root?"

Aleta said...

(lol I'm just not as pretty as I would like to be... I kinda level myself moderate XD)
What doya know. I guess he wants his face clawed off. Shur`tugal stopped without turning around. "Why." she said not really as a question. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't have a traitor on the ground begging for mercy."

Kiokami said...

(THAT would be awesome.)

"Birch root. But I dont see any birch trees around here." Sky thought for a moment. "So poppy seed until we can find some birch root." (Yes, I completely made that up.)

Zoraz said...

Blaze stalked up beside her.
"You are a fool to ignore Karuso's attempts to help the pack, Shur`tugal." he growled ominously. His voice had turned cold and dangerous.
"Be careful what you say..."

(I hoped you would make something up)
Frazko nodded and praised him.
"Good! Although, I did see a birch over that way beside the creek. Check again and I'll finish checking his wounds."'

Kiokami said...

Sky nodded, turning and walking into the trees.

Shenzi walked up, looking over Yeti's body. "He's really learning well." She remarked softly. "Its really become his obsession since his father's death."

Zoraz said...

Frazko nodded stiffly. He had nearly become his father and it was a somewhat touchy subject.

Aleta said...

"Help!? Ha! That in't a good enough reason. The fool here is not ME but YOU. What next tomorrow are ya gonna have feathers in your fur like them? Oki, you, who else is going to be a traitor. Only a the cowards who are afraid of Karuso." she growled while walking to her cave. Then she relized she might lead him to her secret place so she changed her direction a bit.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi nuzzled his cheeck. "Oh, stop it." She barked, laughing slightly. "You might not be his biological father, but you as close as any wold can be to one."

Zoraz said...

Frazko nodded again and turned away, brushing her off.
"He needs to get back to camp."

Kiokami said...

Shenzi nodded slightly, hurt. "We just cant say anything about how he hurt himself." She barked, trying to keep the hurt out of her voice.

Sky trotted back with birch root, carefully feeding it to Yeti. He looked up to Frazko for approval.

Zoraz said...

Frazko paused, his eyes shut and his head low.
"Shenzi," he looked at her. "I'm sorry. I'm not mad at you...I'm not mad actually..It's...just my past. That's all." he said.
He looked at Sky.
"Good! Very good." He paused.
"He looks bad. I wonder what happened.."

Kiokami said...

Shenzi tried to resist rolling her eyes at the thought if her own past. She had resolved herself not to think about her past since she was captured by humans. Still, the memories came flooding back to her. The things she hadn't told anyone, not even Frazko, about her pup-hood pounded in her head. "Yeah." she barked, keeping a calm composure.

Zoraz said...

(lol. Nice pickup on theme.)

Frazko glanced at her face. He saw the worry flicker across it.
"What," he murmured, pressing against her.

Kiokami said...

Shenzi shook her head slightly. "Not now." Or ever...

Hikari walked out of the den once Frazko left. She padded carefully around some untouched snow, wishing it would stay untouched. She looked around camp, her eyes searching for all the 'former' Mistypack members. For some reason, Hikari felt herself looking for others who might have rebellious and outraged thoughts. Soon, she realized, they could act. The she-wolf shivered slightly from both the thought and her physical condition. If there was a rebellion, it would mean blood....so much blood and death.
With her blue eyes half closed, Hikari sighed. It would be better if she stayed rested, the wound must have bleed out the last of her energy while she was asleep. She walked over to the tree she had slept under, and again laid in a curled ball. She was much too tired for any of this...the day she felt alive again was the day they were free from any threats.

Zoraz said...

Frazko cocked his head and then glanced back at Sky. At least the young wolf had something to take his mind off of his dad.

Flare padded through the snowy camp. Sadness clouded her eyes as she stared at what the pack had become.

Blaze galred at Shur`tugal and stalked off, back to the camp.
"Karuso, your majesty, what is your bidding?""

Kiokami said...

Sky took a step back. "Okay. He's done." He barked confidently.

(Is Endure going to reply to Drakon? Im going to copy+paste Drakon's last response so you wont have to hunt for it.)
Drakon cocked his head slightly. "Ive thought of doing that exact thing. We're not servants. We deserve a life of our own."

Oki huddled in his den. Ill show them...Ill learn to fight like a guard, and kill all of them myself!

Talon snorted in amusement at Blaze's 'Your majesty'. What'd he gonna do next? Like his feet free of mud? Pick the burrs from his fur? She stood up, looking for something to do.

Kurow watched camp life with a sigh. In his head, he tried to make lists of what side each wolf of the former Mistypack was on. Some wolves were clear-cut onto each side, others he was unsure of. He relized something- if he could get enough of the pack to rebel, something had to change for the better. He glanced over at Hikari. Surely she would help him lead a rebellion, if he asked.

Zoraz said...

Blaze dipped his head respectufully and licked Karuso's paws. Karuso smiled slightly.
"Enough, you may go do your own bidding for a time. You've done well."

Azure Paintings said...

(oopps sorry, didn't see it! ~~I'll be busy for the next few days, so I won't be able to reply very fast. Btw, I hope it doesn't matter much but is hell considered swearing?)

Endure nodded in agreement with Drakon. She believed that with time, they'd be free. Though, not very faithful in Starpack, she silently sent them a message. Just you watch. I'll be the one to give this new pack living hellWith that she replied to the gray scarred wolf, "I'll think up something, so that we can live like we used to. But I guess before that we can hunt. I won't promise leaving anything for them, though." Endure smirked. She turned towards the entrance before he could reply.

Hikari had perked her ears towards Endure's sharp comments a few feet away. The white wolf knew that most the wolves around her felt this way, but they didn't openly say it aloud. It felt like it was only a matter of time before they did.
(eeek, Hikari is so quiet in these last posts! It scares me how much she's dreading everything in silence!)

Kiokami said...

Drakon smiled ever so slightly, following her out. Once in the forest outside camp, he took off at a run, releasing pent up energy and his anger at the tribe.

Azure Paintings said...

Drakon had sped ahead of her after coming out of the entrance. Endure gave a snort of irritation. Picking up her pace slightly from a walk to a slow gallop, she followed after him. He really didn't need to go off like that. It frustrated her, mainly because the she-wolf knew he could easily scare off any prey that was hiding or in plain sight.

A paw poked Hikari's side while she was laying down. Opening her eyes, a gray wolf stood next to her, his mouth in a taunting snarl. It was one of the tribal wolves. She could tell from his stench.
"Move. I'm taking this spot."
She narrowed her eyes. "As you can see there are quite a few trees around."
"I don't care if there are other trees, now move.!" The gray wolf snarled.
"I am not someone you can give orders to,"she replied icily, "as it stands, the only orders I follow come from my alphas. I only live along side wolves like you because it is for the better." With that she took the effort to stand. "Thank you for waking me, I would've slept more, but I can't get back to sleep once I wake up." She walked away, a snarl following her. Hikari walked forward, her head starting to spin. She saw Kurow not to far away and walked towards him.
"Kurow, where's Rea- I mean Sky." She asked, her voice was shaky. She knew she shouldn't have ignored the wound. Now her head was dizzy from fever.

(lols, im right here Hikari^^Glad you're finally looking for me! )

Kiokami said...

Drakon slowed when he realized Endure wasn't with him. He waited, his face expressionless.

Kurow frowned. "Shenzi came running in, and she took Sky and Frazko. It sounded like there was a problem with Yeti." He paused. "Are you feeling okay?"

Zoraz said...

(Hell is fine unless you say "what the hell" in that usage. Thanks for asking!)

(Omgsh, I feel like there's mutiny against me. 0.0 Karuso is my evil character and everybody hates him and is plotting against him.... o.o)

Frazko carried Yeti over his back into the camp, Sky trotting beside him. He let Yeti slide over his back into his den.
"Shenzi, will you stay with him? I have to go hunt." he murmured as a tribal wolf aimed a kick at he former beta. Lashing teeth left scarlet blood in Frazko's pelt as he tried to duck and avoid them. Blaze was also snarling at Frazko. The brown wolf broke into a run towards the forest. His ribs showed now and his eyes seemed sunken into his head. His whole frame, once proud and strong, was now thin and gaunt. He staggered across the snowy ground.
At least the snow stopped.. he thought, scenting for any trace of prey. There was nothing. The elk had left. The rabbits were all gone. Squirrels slept soundly high above in hidden trees. The question now was not would the pack starve....but when?
(lol, Hikari)

Azure Paintings said...

Hikari had wondered if she should lie and say she was fine, but that wasn't really an option.
"No. I'm an idiot. With everything going on...I just shrugged off the fact that I should pay attention to myself. I was bit during the time Kari was taken away. It's been left unattended besides my licking every once in a while. It's been very cold and I can't even tell how bad the wound is...but I'm feeling the effects right now. Possibly a mild fever..."She wondered if it was true. She could be even sicker if it was actually infected.

Once Endure caught up with Drakon she gave him a glare and snapped at him, "Don't go bounding off like some pup!"
That was all she said. Slowing from her pace, the grey and speckled white wolf let her senses cast upon the frozen land for any signs of life. It would be harder now that Drakon had been too loud and clumsy for his own good. Good grief.

Kiokami said...

"You need to be cateful. Especially now. We need every strong fighter we can get." Kuow barked softly. "Sit. I'll go get Sky." He left, and returned after a moment with the pup.

Azure Paintings said...

"Thank you Kurow." Hikari said quietly.

Kiokami said...

"You welcome." He answered quietly.

Sky looked at Hikari's shoulder breifly, scurrying off to find herbs in the forest.
